Well, it's been ages since episode three was out.
Was it because of Pie's absence? o:

Several reasons:

1. Time to record it
2. Editing it
3. Topics to be discussed that would fill at minimum a 25-30 minute cast, the dub episodes aren't going to be able to fill that much time and make it interesting.

Those amongst other things.

1: Hmm, I'm sure saturday mornings are quite free for casts.
2: If that's I problem, I might volunteer. ^^
3: I got loadsa topics; it's not just Anime either, is it? Think of the games, the TCG! Especially the TCG to put it;

I'm pretty certain it's not returning. However what could be done is having Dogasu as a possible call-in (if he was available) to compare notes between the English and Japanese episodes.

The English Edition was cancelled following a drop in interest in the dub itself amongst many of those who were involved in its recording, along with availability issues. Certainly, Dogasu could call in for something like that, or we could perhaps arrange a new English Edition if we could get some cast members together for it. Send applications for that to myself, if you're interested, or post in this thread.

Well, prolly obvious, but I am. :p

If it is truly dead, would you guys mind removing "Episode 4: soon.." from the archive page, whats the point of it now.

I may be reviving this thread, but I think that with the amount of people watching the dub now, EE may have a chance. I can do it now, and I'm sure many others can, as well.

Just saw this thread now.

Basically...there are a lot of the reasons the English Edition stopped. There were availability issues, people not showing up online when they said they would, basically one person (me) doing all the planning, lack of initiative, issues with recording the thing...all sorts of reasons.

Um...we never made "audio review threads" the main topic, anyway, since that would be boring. It was just a small segment that we'd do after the main topic of the week.

I can assure you that lack of topics was never an issue.

Nope. Originally, we had lots of topics planned for this.

I remember the day we came up with a long list of possible topics. That was quite fun, actually. ^^

And I believe there really was a nice variety of things that could've been discussed in a dub-centered Bulbacast. But, I do feel bad about what happened, because I loved the English Edition.

Anyway, you're right Dogasu, in saying that there were many reasons why the English Edition was stopped.

And of course, I tried to make it for the meetings and recordings most of the time. But yeah, I'm guilty as charged. Unfortunately, I was unavailable for the 3rd episode of EE. I don't even remember why, I guess it just interfered with my class schedule or something. ^^;

right?

may i say, nevermind the english edition, what the muk happend to bulbacast in general?
