What is newsworthy?

I think we need to all come to some agreement here, not just on what is newsworthy....but also perhaps who should be responsible for some of the regular articles, so that we can rest assured that no potential article will fall by the wayside because everyone just assumed someone else would do it soon enough.

So...what makes something newsworthy?

Heh, I think a better question would be: what isn't newsworthy, wouldn't you say? Seeing as it's hard to predict what may come up, and all.

Personally, I consider things as simple as a revealed name to be worthy of their own article - that is, unless a large number of names are revealed, say.

One thing I haven't seen much of that I do think would be newsworthy, though, would be articles on new Pokemon merchandise.
