what is the eeveelutions?

I's strange, they say Eevee is a doe, Jolteon a porcupine,Vaporeon a fish, Leafeon a plant(duh), Espeon a cat, and i don't want to think about the others. So what is Eevee and it's eeveelutions? is the DNA mutations change even that!? The creators is going too far for me.

Yeah, some of them do deviate quite a lot from looking fox-like (I'm looking at you, Espeon) but they are, in fact, all foxes.

Jolteon is not a porcpine. All the eeveelutions are a mixture of foxes, cats, and rabits.

Espeon for example is closer to a cat.

Glaceon- Arctic Fox or Snow Leopard?

On bulbapedia/wikipedia it says that Glaceon is based on a snow leopard. But seriously, to be honest, I think it's an Arctic Fox beacuse a real snow leopard has black spots and it is related to cats, not foxes like Eevee.

So what do you think? Is Glaceon a snow leopard or an Arctic Fox?

With one exception (Espeon) all of the Eeveeloutions seem like canines to me.

Vaporeon's face suggests it to be more of a cat with fish-like features to me. Same with Umbreon.

This is starting to sound like the legendary dogs/cats/gerbis/beast discussion, which does lead me to believe the Pokemon that were ressurected in the Brass Tower were Flareon, Vaporeon, and Jolteon.

Well, it makes sense that the Eeveelutions are cat/fox like....

I remember something from an old nature show that I used to watch. Supposedly, there was an ancestor of the fox, which both cats and dogs originally descended from.


Basically, this means that cats and dogs are actually related to each other, or that they were related at some point.
