I know the total size limit is 160 by 575 (my signature currently adheres to that rule), but I was wondering whether there's an actual length limit to the code within the signature.
Because Blazaking EX was asking me about "how I fit 12 images into my signature", so I was wondering whether there was some sort of rule against having too many images in your signature, besides the one about "one large banner" and "six sprites" that's currently mentioned in the Signature Rule Update thread.
My current signature is about 1.6 KB long (with all the BBCode that's in it), and the banner that's currently there is 480 by 30, and composed of 12 images whose filesizes total 7.02 KB.
Is there some sort of loading pressure associated with loading a number of images instead of just loading a larger image?
(I posted this in the Signature Rule Update thread, but the thread never got bumped, so I'm hoping that this is more likely to get a response.)
