Propose your ideas, post your theories, etc.

My personal favourite has to be this one.

I suppose we can bring up the topic of dugtrio being three diglett or one whole being, but there's already a topic for that.

Last thing. Diglett/Dugtrio are capable of learning slash, cut, etc. which shows that they could have claws. And what about aerial ace?

Anyway, voice your opinion!

I like to think of him like a little torpedo-shaped thing stuck in the ground. Like a brown Bullet Bill with claws. :p

...Ooo! And when he digs, he spirals through the ground like a torpedo! ^^

Heh, I was going to post that. :x

Real answer: They want us to leave it up to our imagination, there's obviously never going to be anything official revealed.

Personal answer: I see the rest of it looking pretty mole-esque, with the little webbed claws and a short tail.

Well, according to Mystery Dungeon, Diglett has feet, so it's quite possible that it has claws too.

Other than that, I have NO idea. I think Porygon's idea is probably abour right, it's a mole. Maybe the part of it that's above ground is actually it's nose or something.

Don't get me wrong thats very funny but how's it going to attack with scratch, etc without people noticing it, also in the second movie we see hundreds of them moving together at once right next to eachother and Diglet tunnel was built by hundredsm of them, so when you take this into consideration its really just too big to be realistic. However it probably has claws instead of feet which it uses to attack and to dig, but you can't be sure as no pics show it, no games show it and the anime conveniently misses it out by using a black screen with tear marks across it.

I was only joking on that. It's hilarious, but there's no way it could be true. I agree on it having claws, but....

Ladies and gentlemen, please refrain from posting random PokeSho comics that have nothing to do with the topic at hand. Thank you.

(response to a deleted post, in case you're wondering)

Haha! That's BLK-MKT's art, right? I prefer his dugtrio myself.

Yeah, it maked me laugh out loud!

Serously though, I've always pictured Diglett as a little brown jelly-bean. It has no arms or legs, but uses its core muscles to move around... There's probably no way it looks like this but it's how I WANT it to look.

Having watched quite a few episodes of Heroes now, I have to wonder if maybe the Diglett are like Sylar, and pull off their Slash attacks telekinetically.

Yes, I know technically they'd have to be Psychic types then, but Gyarados and Charizard should probably both be Dragon types (since that's essentially what they are). Just work with me here.

When I was really little, I used to think that diglett looked like a fudgesicle because of it's head.
But now I think he might have armadillo claws.

I posted that in my initial post. AMAZING. XD

I love the Diglett's expression, as well as Ash's.
