The Major Arcana are the named cards in a standard cartomantic tarot pack, of which there are 22, numbered from 0 to 21 (with 'The Fool' being 0).
Everyone has a birth Major Arcana, connected to their birth date by numerology and traditionally used to reflect the core themes of their life.

0 = The Fool
1 = The Magician
2 = The High Priestess
3 = The Empress
4 = The Emperor
5 = The Hierophant
6 = The Lovers
7 = The Chariot
8 = Justice
9 = The Hermit
10 = The Wheel of Fortune
11 = Strength
12 = The Hanged Man
13 = Death
14 = Temperance
15 = The Devil
16 = The Tower
17 = The Star
18 = The Moon
19 = The Sun
20 = Judgement
21 = The World

You calculate your birth arcana by doing the following:

1. Take your full birthdate in numbers (it doesn't matter what date format you use).
2. Add all of the digits in your full birthdate together. For example, for myself, it would be 0 + 5 + 0 + 9 + 1 + 9 + 9 + 9 = 42.
If you don't feel comfortable sharing your exact birth date in your response, that's absolutely fine - just share the final digit!
3. If you get a result higher than 21, you need to reduce it until it's 21 or lower. You do this by adding the two digits in your first result together. For myself, it would be 4 + 2 = 6.
4. Match your final number between 0 - 21 to the corresponding Major Arcana.
5. If you get 22, that traditionally corresponds with 0, The Fool.

So, for myself, I got 6, which equals The Lovers. Apparently, this signifies finding balances within oneself by learning to understand yourself, your own personal moral code, and what you value most in life.

Now share yours!
Do you feel it's a good fit for you? If you could choose a different Major Arcana to represent yourself, what would it be, & why? Or you can always share your result on its own, if you'd like.

Keep in mind that there are no 'worse' and 'better' cards in tarot - they're to be used as guidance, they aren't prophecies! Have fun!

Uhhh lets see if I did this right: so my final number is 36. So I add 3+6 to get 9.

I subtract 9 from 36 twice to get 18, so my birth major Arcana is The Moon. Which is the symbol of Intution, dreams and the unconscious. Usually means that not everything is what it seems. Hmmm. o_o; I think I'm okay with this lol.

EDIT: I realized I understood this wrong lol. So my actual number is 9 or The Hermit. Which represents solitude and self-reflection! I kind of like this better, feels far more fitting.

Ahh, my mom is really into tarot.

I got The Lovers. Interesting.

I got 37, unless my maths is wrong

3+7 = 10

So I got the Wheel of Fortune, I feel like that fits. Every day is waking up and spinning the wheel on whether it'll be a good or bad day hahaha! It also matches my gaming tendencies, when given the choice, I'll pick the option with more randomness behind it, say in a roguelike or another choice making situation. So yeah, fairly spot on?

I got Strength.

So pretty much it means possessing the inner fortitude to handle current situation with patience and composure, turning challenges into growth opportunities, and facing your fears. I would say that somewhat fits me.

I got The Tower, which... is kind of a scary one?? (Apparently one of the 'worst' ones traditionally, but you can look at it in a lot of ways, I think.) But even though it represents upheaval and destruction and sudden change, you can also look at it as a 'reshaping' or 'rebirth' or 'breaking through', from what I've heard people say. I was actually born three months early, and I would have gotten The Sun if I stayed to term, which... hmm, feels very apt, since that's something I get told I'm like very often.

I kind of like the idea that I was supposed to have gotten The Sun but instead got The Tower, though... maybe it's the sort of thing where the old weak spots will eventually fade and I'll become an even more radiant, bright person. That feels pretty meaningful with things I'm going through and trying to battle myself right now, ehehe. This was really fun!

I don't know much about Tarot but i got The Hanged Man! (funny enough a Tarot card that one of my favorite non pokemon fictional characters has connections too), doing some super basic googling The Hanged Man represents trails and sacrifice but also wisdom... very intresting, i can kind of see it fitting me in a way i think.
