This means battles like Single, Double, etc. Not the UU, OU, Uber-that kind of crap. Why is it your favorite and do you wish there were more of them?

My favorite is Doubles. Most likely because I played Emerald first, and Doubles exploded on that game/that gen. I also enjoy VGC, which is Doubles for those who didn't know.

Rotation. ^^ I like being able to switch around my pokes and throwing off whoever I'm battling. xD And in game I definitely wanted more. ._.

Single battles, the original and the best. Other than that, rotation: they add a really unique element of strategy to battles.

Singles for me. I enjoy the simplicity of it on the surface that allows for it to be intriguingly complex underneath. Prediction is what makes it fun (when playing against another person), and I don't enjoy the offensive focus of Doubles or Triples as much by comparison. And, in-game, it just makes it easier for me to tank through the Trainer, Rival, Gym and E4 battles with three or four Pokemon.

I like Doubles. Single is kinda boring, Triple/Rotation requires too much strategy and stress. I prefer Double battles cuz they're more epic XDD

Singles. any day. From my experience in doubles(which is admittedly less), most matches are decided simply by team matchup. I mean a team like politoed, ludicolo, and 2 more sweepers or trickroom teams seem to have considerable advantages above the non-themed teams. While it can also be said about singles(that is team advantage can also exist in singles), it is from my experience much easier to minimize that advantage by clever switching, entry hazards, etc.

Doubles! They're both fast paced and synergy-dependant. I think no other format punishes having a dead-weight Pokemon on your team like doubles, and that's what I like about them.

I originally feel in love with them when I first started playing Emerald Battle Frontier, but playing against a person is certainly more entertaining.

I also enjoy Singles and Rots, but Doubles is where it is.

I love singles, but have recently found out how much of a fun triple battles can be. They are almost as unpredictable as rotational battles and offer some often overlooked Pokemon their chance to shine.

Rotation battles can be really fun and can end up pretty funny. But for serious competitive I like single, sometimes double but I don't focus as much on my double team of course.

My personal favorite would have to be Doubles. It might be because I'm more used to them than Rotations and Triples (which in my honest opinion can be a pain sometimes), though. xD

I probably would have liked Rotations/Triples more if I had the chance to do some more, but I haven't had much of a chance (in-game and outside of the game, in battles with some people here), so...yeah. xD

I chose Doubles. I like trying out different combinations of Pokemon and seeing which Pokemon work well with each other. My favorite will always be Garchomp and Luxray.

It used to be Single for me, but I've grown to love Double battles! I love the strategy involved in them--and the danger, too.

I hope Rotation Battles will be utilized more frequently in future games and competitions, because I love how they are slightly more strategic than single battles but are still 1-on-1.

Rotation is my favorite, followed by doubles. Rotation battles are so unique, as are doubles. I play a bit on singles, and I can see myself getting into triples in the future.

Single battle all the way. I grew up with it. Rotation comes in a close second though. It's a great idea, and it really makes you think about 5 steps ahead.

All of them, I like switching things up.

But if I had to pick, Doubles. As of now they're aren't as common as Singles (unless you're playing Colosseum/XD where they're the default battle format), but they are still more utilized than Triple or Rotation, so I have a better grasp on them.

I'd love if Triple and Rotation were used more in the future though.

I like all of them, but if I would have to say, it would be Singles with the Wonder Launcher. It's so very nice to be able to use items.

I like Triple Battles too, 'cause I can use Heat Wave, and see all of the opponents Pokemon health go down in the awesome health bar graffics of the White game that is awesome like Fawful.

I HAVE...FURY!!!

Doubles but only in third gen because that was back when the battling wasn't freaking messed up.
