I have been wondering which ranger game is the most loved? So which of the series is your favorite?

I personally liked Shadows
Of Almia the best, I may be biased since it was my first video game ever, but I felt like the plot and areas were pretty interesting, and I loved the characters as well! Having friends grow up and become apart of the Ranger Union with you really was awesome (or I'm extremely biased :p)

Also my second question is, before the DS family of consoles die out, would you like to see another game in 3D perhaps?

Aha, I haven't played the Pokemon Ranger series for a long time. I can barely even remember the objective for each game and only then I can only remember the bits I found interesting.

The one thing that sprung to mind upon opening this topic was the school arc in Shadows of Almia. Since this was my first game, I really did find it rather fun and whenever you went back there for missions, I was always nostalgic.

So yeah, I'll go Almia.

Guardian Signs because of the amount of legendary pokemon that is in it.

I Didn't like the first one. Almia is amazing. Never played the third one.

I've never played them, except for the last few stages of the first one. Essentially, I wanted a legit Manaphy (this was shortly before they announced this year's events, *grumble grumble*), so I decided to chance it on buying a used copy and hoping that it still had an unused Ranger Net. Fortunately, it did, and it was close to complete! It didn't come with a manual, though, so I had to go online to learn the controls. But I really enjoyed it. So much so that I was perfectly happy to risk buying another used copy in order to score a Manaphy for my girlfriend (and uncannily, I lucked out once more, as the Ranger Net was unused, and they were saved toward the end of the game), because it would mean that I would get to play those last few stages again.

I have been thinking about restarting one of those cartridges and playing through it properly. The villains were incredibly naff, but the the gameplay that I did experience was a lot of fun.
