What is your favourite Pokémon type combination?

My favourite one is Ghost/Dark, because no moves are super effective on them (unless they are holding a Target Ring, or Foresight is used on them)
 
I'm going to say Steel and Grass which is Ferrothorn's typing. Really great in both Rain and Sandstorm.
 
I like Kingdra's Dragon/Water type, and Victini's Psychic/Fire is cool.
 
Normal. Just normal lol. because they only have one weakness. Fighting.
(I know electric has one weakness too)
 
I'm in the minority it seems, but I love the fire/fighting starters, especially Infernape and Emboar. The 3 of them really awesome (Monferno, Pignite, and Combusken too), and it's sad that it's so "overdone" as a starting type, when pure-type starters are twice as boring (yeah, Samurott and Serperior).

I also like Dark/Ghost. WonderGhost ftw I hope we see more interesting and spooky Pokemon like that.
 
Anything that has a natural single weakness.

Hmm... I like Giratina's Ghost/Dragon, Kingdra's Water/Dragon, and Hydreigon's Dark/Dragon. I actually like a lot of the part-Dragon Pokemon. Except Dragon/Flying, because that's just overdone.
 
I like all the combinations involving Ghost, including Ghost/Dark, Normal/Ghost and so on. That's because Ghost is my favourite type. Besides that, Grass/Steel is awesome too.

Any combination with Dragon, like Dragon/Ground and Dragon/Fire. Fire/Dark is another one of my favorites.
 
Ghost / A lot of things really. I think my favorite might just be ghost / electric because of how they pulled it off.
 
Dark/Fighting for Scraggy/Scrafty mainly, my favorite fighting types just for being the only ones immune to Psychic types and overall great power.

Plus like everybody else I really like the Ghost/Dark types.
 
They pulled off Ghost/Fire and Dark/Fire really well.
Sinister stuff+ghastly fire that permanently burns your soul/body. That's pretty badass.
 
I've come to love Fire/Dragon quite a bit. It negates the ice weakness, and it's just cool sounding! Reshiram FTW
 
I personally love a combo of Ghost/Fighting due to it's perfect neutral coverage. Shame that nothing has that type combo yet.

And by practical relevance in the gameplay, or by potential concept?

Personally, I really want to see a Grass/Dragon type. I think Game Freak could make something interesting with that typing.
Grass/Fire would be pretty nice, too. It'd be great in sunlight.

Though also, Steel/Ghost would be hands down one of the best typings. Specially if it is given Levitate as many ghosts have, it'd boast four immunities and one weakness, plus a bunch of resistences. It's an amazing defensive typing.
And in concept it would also have plenty of things to take from and make a neat design. There were previous threads talking about possesed swords and armor pieces, for example.


As for existing ones... Volcarona's Bug/Fire, while it's deadly weak to rocks, makes still for a nice combination in concept. Bug/Electric is good, too, specially negating Electric's weakness and one of Bug's common ones.

Props to Dark/Fighting for mixing two types with such contrasting concepts, too.
