What is your favourite region from the whole of Pokemon. You can choose absolutely anything, and if you have more than one favourite thats fine vote for both.

Mine would be Hoenn so far because its the biggest region so far and has a much greater diversity of landscapes like the desert and Sootopolis(a city inside a volcano genius!) However I haven't played DP or Ranger yet so I might change my mind soon.

What's your favourite and Why?
 
Shinou is bigger, and so are the towns but I like Hoenn's landscape more (and it has all my favorites) so I choose it.
 
My favorites are Kanto and Johto.

I like Kanto because it's the classic region that we are all familiar with, and it just brings back memories of running through Viridian City, and going down the Bike Path. Good times. :p

I like Johto because, for some reason, I felt extremely connected to the GSC games...moreso than RBY. There was just something about GSC that made me love Pokemon even more, and I'll never forget that. (Probably the fact that I loved Crystal because of the animations and other things....Plus, my favorite Dratini sprite of all time came from Crystal...which happens to be my Avatar that I use for every forum. >:p)
 
Kanto as it was the 1st region I ever saw + I feel most connected to it

Hoenn as there is so many places to explore
and even the Orange Islands as they're just Plain AWESOME
 
Johto had so much potential but it was dragged down by the screwing of Kanto in GSC. Taken by itself, however, Johto's the best. My favorite parts were the Radio Tower and its programming, Goldenrod's secret underground, Team Rocket building a base beneath a hole-in-the-wall PokéMart, and that Miltank Farm that made you buy MooMoo Milk one bottle at a time (how annoying)

I have a feeling Sinnoh might displace Johto at the top for me once I play DP, though.

You know, I feel that way too even though Yellow was my first Pokemon game. Johto has some sort of magic, and has memories and feels like it was the first region for me. Even today, when I listen to the beepy gameboy music from that game, I still think so many of the songs are better than the smooth GBA songs, and the songs remind me how cool Johto was when I played through it.
Johto was definitely the coolest region and the best region.
However, Kanto, Shinou and Fiore are right behind it.
Kanto - the starting game and where I believe a part of me lived a loooooong time ago (long story)
Shinou - even though I have yet to play the games, I still like it
Fiore - probably because the graphics made the region seem awesome
I should've put Houen because I LOVE the land and the berry farm but my AG biased self told me not to. Mean self!
 
I think Johto is just so ground breaking even though the graphics weren't as advanced as we have today.:party:
