Heh I have one of those too!

But by far my favorite is my Gold Plated Meouth.

It's just like a regular Meouth from the original set except it is gold plated along the edges. It was part of a contest by PopTarts where you had a one in nigh impossible chance to pull one. I at PopTarts for a month till I got sick of em till finally was like screw it and got in on eBay ages ago.

Really tis an awesome card and still can't eat PopTarts anymore to this day as a lasting testimate to just how much I ate looking for one >_<;;

But my favorite hands-down is a Japanese Fossil-set Magneton. So awesome and shiny, and my technical first card. XD

I've always loved My Southern Island cards. I only have one japanese though, but I love them and the binder and postcards that came with them ^_^

Besides that, my favorite "rare" cards would be:
-Entei from the 3rd movie (I love this promo)
-Dark Gyrados Prerelease
-Surfing Pikachu
-Rapidash and Ho-oh (came with Nintendo power, showing off ecard-reader mini games_
-Error Kakuna card
-I have 2 japanese sheet Typhlosions and then the same card in English and German
-My Italian Charizard :3

The Birthday Pikachu Card. I remember once I had it. Can't remember for the life of me whatever happened to it

The Birthday Pikachu card was released in 1999 in Japan with a monthly calendar. According to Japanese Pokemon dealers, the calendars containing this rare Pikachu promo sold out within weeks and was never produced again. Japanese Pokemon fans went crazy for this Birthday Pikachu card because it's not only the special anniversary tribute to the Pokemon game, but the first and only holographic Pikachu.
