What is your use for Pokeballs?

I'm talking about pokeballs. The lowest level of ball. Do you use them, if at all? Do you catch only special Pokemon with them? Do you only catch Pokemon with them at the beginning? Do you catch legendaries with them?

I personally use them in all cases except when I'm trying to catch Pokemon for the Pokedex.

Example, in my Sapphire game, most of my Pokemon are caught with Pokeballs. I don't have a single Pokemon in my party caught with anything else, except for an Alakazam I caught as an Abra at lvl 5 or so in a nest ball. I also try to catch all my legendaries with Pokeballs, except for the running type-those I use masterball or ultra.

Yeah, I like to use Pokeballs as much as possible, even on legendaries. In some cases, I have to use other balls, though.

Re: What is your use for Poké Balls?

I do like I believe the majority does, that is, I use Poké Balls (Pok-e-accent-SPACE-Balls) until better balls are available and I have sufficient money, and after that point, they sit in my bag only for decorative purposes. :p

I only really use them at the beginning, they're not really special to me, although, to me, oddly enough, they are the nicest looking ball.

I use Poke and Premier Balls (which are essentially the same thing) when I think they'll actually work. So namely on Pokemon that are at Lv20 or lower.

I use them for catching all kinds of Pokémon - for example, I caught my Palkia in Pearl with an ordinary Pokéball, the cheapest possible. And it was the third try (which makes third time a charm for me). If there's a Pokémon I really want and want to make it sure that it won't get out of the ball, I'll use an Ultra ball. But besides that, ordinary Pokeballs do the trick for me - even with legendaries.

I only use them in the beginning. Once I obtain enough money, and they're available, I switch to the higher level balls.

I try and use them to catch Pokémon that I'm actually intending to use for my team throughout the game, so I have a team of Pokémon in Poké Balls, just like everyone else in the game. It makes me feel less superior to them, which I see as a good thing, weirdly enough.

I try to use Premier Balls on my favourite Pokemon and legendaries since they're my favourite type of ball.

Of course I use them! They are the cheapest of all! Also you get a free premier ball each time you buy 10 of them.

I use Pokeballs at the beginning, like everyone, so most of my team ( and all those hatched obviously) are in Pokeballs. However with legendaries or other cool Pokemon I try to use different ones that look cool - dusk, premiere etc. I never really use great balls, and use ultras when I don't have anything else.

As everyone else, I use Pokeballs at the beginning, and once I get enough money, I switch to the higher level.

Thanks.

I always try to use them on everything but the running legendaries, if I run out of them I go with the Ultra Balls, the Great Balls look awful, sometimes I may want to go with the Premier Balls for legendaries.

In RSE I never have a full team on Poké Balls because I always get a Pikachu in Safari Zone, in LGFR I got them all in Poké Balls

I don't really care what type of Poke Ball I use except for at the beginning since the normal ones are the only ones avalible, I like using the other ones(luxury, dive, etc) depending on the pokemon and the animation of the ball.

Like, half of the Pokemon I own are in Quick Balls. Lol.

When it comes to the Pokemon that are on my team, I use ones that I think look the coolest (or match their personality)

At first, it's a must to use a Pokeball to catch wild pokemon.. Then I switch to Great/Ultra Ball once available because I can't really catch anything with it.. (x.X) But yeah, Pokeball is actually nicer than GreatBall and UltraBall.

I do like the pokeball, but most of the time I seem to catch things in the Duskball due to the fact that the only time I have to play is at night. I really like the look of the Premireball though.
