What kind of Pokémon do you think may be used in a medieval war?

Well, before reading at the replies to this thread (if any) please note that this topic may be upsetting or disturbing. I do not expect gore, but to give an example: umm… Rapidash being used for cavalry etc.
I just wanted some ideas for a future fic.

I could definitely see Aegislash, as well as its pre-evolutions, being used in a medieval war as a foot soldier with Honedge even being wielded by human soldiers in battle. Other Pokémon I could see being used in a medieval war are:
Scyther - swordsmon
Scizor - swordsmon
Kleavor - axe-wielding mon
Rapidash - cavalry
Decidueye - archer
Golem (or too many Rock-type Pokémon to list in this post) - trebuchet or catapult via Rock Throw or Rock Slide.
Charizard - aerial cavalry and using ranged Fire-type attacks to torch villages, cities, castles, or simply incinerating ranks of enemy troops.
Greninja - assassination, sabotage, flooding towns or structures, or even just providing water for troops.
Alakazam (or any teleporting Psychic-type Pokémon) - intelligence gathering, spy that can also fight and do damage to the enemy, also counter-espionage.
Lucario - soldier, counter-espionage since it can use Aura to find spies.
Chansey/Blissey - medics and field medics

And these Pokémon listed above are just off the top of my head. There are many other Pokémon that I could see being used in a medieval war. And one could probably substitute more Pokémon for the ones listed above in their various goals. Technically, any fully evolved Pokémon that has offensive power could probably be useful in a medieval war. The ones listed above merely have the aesthetic of potential medieval soldiers or fill roles that would be useful in such an army.
