What do you think will happen next after Sinnoh?

Ash is almost at his 7th badge and only one more after that. The as many speculate, and I think will happen, an E4 challange and because this is the second Gen to have a battle frontier, I say there will be one as well. Beyond this, I have no idea as there is no hint of a Gen V, but I doubt the anime will come to an end after this series is over and Ash Sinnoh journey comes to an end.

They'll probably pit him against the Elite 4 if they have time since Platinum won't be new enough by the time he'd be able to go to the Battle Frontier, and if not, they'll just move him on to the next region.

I'm 99.99% sure they'll go to Jouto. They're not whoring out NE Pichu for nothing.

What I want to happen:

- Ash beats Paul in the finals with Infernape and wins the Sinnoh League

- Elite 4 + Cynthia arc, they could do it in only 10 episodes. Ash beats the Elite's but loses to Cynthia. I would have Ash use all his older Pokemon from Kanto-Hoenn, as well as his Sinnoh Pokes for battle.

- Possibly BF and Ribbon Society thing. It's possible May could compete in this too, and maybe be an on and off rival for Dawn. If not, then just another 5 contests + GF for Dawn.

- Ash meets Ho-oh, he confronts Giovanni and disbands TR, some random loose ends are tied up...we have goodbye montage...and that's all folks.


I would be perfectly happy with the show coming to a close at the end of this generation. 600+ episodes, 13 movies, and 13-14 years is enough to follow Ash on his journey.

Of your 4 points, I agree with the first 3. #4, ain't gonna happen yet, and as someone relatively young, I'm not too bothered if it continues ;-) But I hope your 4th one does happen at the end of the franchise eventually.
