Other then PokeSpe that is, since basically everyone says that. There's a superb looking fan anime coming out anyway

Can I post this topic? There was a Special thread a few weeks ago but..Meh.

For me it would have to be DPA Adventures. I could easily see it being a 23 - 30 episode series. Pokewake and MPJ would also be good anime since they're so different and due to the way they are (the latter is shoujo and the former is a bunch of short stories that don't really center around the "typical" Pokemon story).

a Dengeki! Pikachu OVA would be awesome. Yeah, it's essentially just retelling some select episodes of the existing anime, but can you imagine them animating Pokemon with a more realistic art style like that? Hot damn, would I like to see that.

As much as I adore DPA, I like it as a manga.

I'm going with MPJ. It's cute, a different take on everything (no one goes on a trainer journey--it's life WITH pokemon), and the pokemon have actual personalities.

There's a fanimé of Adventures? This I gotta see.

Diamond and Pearl Adventure? Sure, why not. It's a bit different, but could work out. Electric Tale of Pikachu was an alternate take on the animé, so it probably isn't the best idea.

Perhaps a Mystery Dungeon games side-series (There was a mini-manga series of it. I believe it was called Ginji's Rescue Team.)

The only one I can think that I want for an anime is the Electric Tale of Pikachu series. I think it might be a more mature take on the same storyline, if censorship doesn't come to play.

The Scary Clefairy/Creepy Pippi manga came before any of the previous manga mentioned, so I'd choose that. Although at least there was that thing in AG with this manga.

Yup. From the scenes they've posted on Youtube, it seems pretty top notch too. But it's going to take forever I suppose.

Now if only someone would do DPA..

Uhh, Special or DP Adventures, but especially Special because I'm told I'm in the running to sing the OP for the fan-made Special anime. lol.

Pokemon Adventures Ruby and Sapphire. In my opinion, it had the best storyline and characters.

DPA. I loved it so much, me being the major Sinnoh fan I am. I could see it as a 30-episode series too.

IMO, it's better if PokeSpe is left as a manga.

Pokéspecial/Pokémon Adventures would actually make an interesting manga. It would be sorta like with Ash & co., but with cameos at the end of each arc and new heroes at the beginning of ever saga. Not to mention how I like its unique plots and characters as well.

Pokemon Special! Here, we have characters who aren't total n00bs, as well as a story! I mean, beyond "Ash wants to be a Pokemon Master", how many story arcs has the anime had? Three? Four? Now, how many episodes did each arc last? Three? Four?

Still, Special is mature enough to handle older viewers, but it isn't as mature as, say, Pocket Monsters...
