In my mind every Pokemon I recognize with a particular move. Sometimes it's their signature move but mostly it's just a move I think really relates to them:

For instance:

Rhyhorn - Horn Drill
Tangela - Constrict
Dodrio - Tri-attack
Hypno - Hypnosis

Etc, etc...

So, I want us to come to come together and discuss with moves go with each Pokemon the best. Since there are more Pokemon then moves some moves can be repeated but there should not be three different Pokemon with all the same move, and each evolution family can only have one member with a particular move. Ex. Only one Pokemon from the Squirtle family can have skull bash.

List so far:

Blastoise - Hydro Pump
Beedrill - Twineedle
Rattata - Hyper Fang
Raticate - Super Fang
Jigglypuff- Sing
Diglett- Dig
Shellder - Icicle Spear
Cloyster - Clamp
Cubone - Bone Club
Marowak - Bonemerang
Hitmonlee - Mega Kick
Hitmonchan - Mega Punch
Kangaskhan - Dizzy Punch
Staryu - Swift
Jynx - Lovely Kiss
Magikarp - Splash
Mewtwo - Psystrike
Octillery - Octazooka
Delibird - Present
Skarmory - Steel Wing
Smeargle - Sketch
Hitmontop - Triple Kick
Miltank - Milk Drink
Lugia - Aeroblast
Ho-oh - Sacred Fire
Blaziken - Blaze Kick
Latias - Mist Ball
Latios - Luster Purge
Jirachi - Doom Desire
Deoxys - Psycho Boost
Vespiquen - Attack Order, Defense Order, Heal Order
Chatot - Chatter
Dialga - Roar of Time
Palkia - Special Rend
Heatran - Magma Storm
Regigigas - Crush Grip
Giratina - Shadow Force
Cresselia - Lunar Dance
Manaphy - Heart Swap
Darkrai - Dark Void
Shaymin - Seed Flare
Arceus - Judgment
Victini - Searing Shot
Oshawott - Razor Shell

You guys figure out the rest.

Diglett - Dig
Abra Family - Kinesis
Jigglypuff - Sing
Skarmory - Steel Wing

And of course...
Miltank - Rollout

Abra Family - Kinesis
Miltank - Rollout
You can't give all the Abra family Pokemon Kinesis.

Also, wouldn't Miltank's move be Milk Drink?

The other ones you mentioned I agree with.

Blastoise - Hydro Pump
Charizard - Heat Wave. Because It's a Fire move based on wind and many other Flying-type Pokémon being able to learn it.
Typhlosion - Eruption

Every bug Pokémon - String Shot (>_>)
Blastoise - Rain Dance (for Blue in RBY XD)
Miltank - Rollout
Arcanine - Flamethrower
Scraggy - Brick Break
Oshawott - Razor Shell

Ooh, so many. I have many more in my mind. :p

Body Slam just screams Snorlax.

Really? I think Rest would go better with Snorlax.

And of course:
Tauros / Bouffalon - Headbutt
Pikachu - Volt Tackle
Ditto - Transform

I may be saying the obvious here, but, eh ...

Bronzor - Mirror Coat
Meguroko (Sandile in English, I think) - Fake Tears
Hitmonlee - Mega Kick
Hitmonchan - Mega Punch
Gengar - Night Shade

Staryu - Swift
Starmie - Power Gem
Mewtwo - Psystrike (obvious, but still)
Chandelure - Will-O-Wisp
Elgyem - Zen Headbutt
Kecleon - Synchronoise
Lickitung - Lick
Xatu - Future Sight
Sigilyph - Miracle Eye

Guess which type is my favorite :p

Does the pokémon have to actually be able to learn the move?

I know it's a bug-type move, but Leech Life seems right at home on Litwick, considering the dex entry. If it does have to be actually able to learn the move, Storm Throw for Throh, and Fire Blast for Typhlosion, because of the fiery mane.

Every bug Pokémon - String Shot (>_>)
A move per two Pokemon. Also, I would have thought Caterpie goes with string shot.

Blastoise - Rain Dance (for Blue in RBY XD)
Odd choice. I would have thought Hydro Pump for Blastoise and maybe Rain Dance for like, Ludicolo but okay.

Miltank - Rollout
Again with Milktank and the rollout.

Tauros / Bouffalon - Headbutt
Bouffalant has a signature it's... You know, I'm just going to edit most of the signature moves into the first post.

And Tauros should have a tail oriented attack like Tail Whip or something.

Does the pokémon have to actually be able to learn the move?
Yeah, kind of. I mean, it's not really a signature move if they can't learn it now.

Blastoise - Rain Dance (for Blue in RBY XD)
Odd choice. I would have thought Hydro Pump for Blastoise and maybe Rain Dance for like, Ludicolo but okay.

In FRLG, Blue's Blastoise uses Rain Dance in his first turn, and I bolt it with a non-evading Thunder. It stayed in my head till now. :p

Miltank - Rollout
Again with Milktank and the rollout.

Also, Milktank is associated with Attract.

Charizard - Flame Thrower/Fire Blast

I Mean, he's a Fire Breathing 'Dragon'.

Meowth - Pay Day

Staryu/Starmie - Bubblebeam
In RBY, Bubblebeam's animation was nightmare fuel. The horror!

Koffing - Smog
Grimer - Sludge
Voltorb - Selfdestruct
More problematic Pokemon in RBY days.

Articuno - Powder Snow
Zapdos - Drill Peck
Moltres - Fire Spin
They didn't learn many moves when I caught them back then. XD;

Vaporeon - Acid Armor
It can melt in water.

Sneasel - Beat Up
Slakoth - Slack Off
Skitty - Assist
Spinda - Teeter Dance
Signature level-up moves until later gens, so I familiarize these Pokemon with these attacks.

Bagon/Salamence - Fly
Its lifelong dream is to fly... Dragon Claw comes to mind too.

Miltank and Rollout makes a lot of sense for any members who started with Cyndaquil. :( Milk Drink is its signature move, though.

Infernape- Close Combat
Gyarados- Outrage
Lapras- Surf
Pikachu- Thunderbolt
Mr. Mime- Barrier
White Kyruem- Ice Burn
Black Kyruem- Freeze Shock
Bravairy- Brave Bird

Hydro Cannon - Blastoise
Softboiled - Chansey line
Return - Lillipup line idunno why
Guillotine - Snivy Line (french royaltie)
