What moves should be in "Slash" category? fang, claw, razor too?

Slashing moves

Water shuriken, Solar Blade and Razor Shell should be included into this list.
The same with X-scissors and Cross Poison.

I think that fang, claw based moves maybe too... bites are both sited but maybe if something is slash proof then both sited?

I don't think we should do Fang moves.

You can technically also put in Aerial Ace, while not being a Slash Move, its depicted as a Slash move. And Low Sweep also. You basically Slash at his legs with the move.

Low sweep could be counted but maybe not taking that legs arent "cutting" in that sense of word.

But if moves have in their description slashing should it be counted? For me it would be good if the right type combos and pokemon get this.

Dragon claw, shawod claw, crush claw, metal claw, scratch, guillotine that are 6 moves.

Even if we take fang moves that would be something like 30 moves?

I agree with you that Low Sweep can be counted, but also not. I am leaning towards not, since imo, Fangs don't Slash, they Bite.

but where did you get the low sweep dex description with the slashing?

Sky uppercut rather could be counted more?
but what about Cross Chop and Brick Break?
for me cross chop more then brick break beacuse of the "breaking" dilema, where there is more strenght and force then sharp-edged and cutting.

Biting into two parts is like using a bigger scizor or blade to cut something in to half like X-scizor or Cross Poison? or not?
Fangs are like swords or blades in such situtations thats my opinion.
More teach is like more little swords or like a chainsaw...

If something is immune to a sword slash then should it fear a weak bite or fangs?
piercing a sword or blade into something is the same mechanic like biting something.

Crunch could maybe not be counted taking how big jaws and there crunching effect goes.
Its like crushing but maybe to similar when smaler pokemon use it.

Stone edge would fit the slashing motive and maybe stealth rocks too?
Theoretically spikes should not be a problem for something that slashes but maybe the feet would not be protected, but maybe it could work also?

(this would be really neat for something with a armor, or really hard skin
or even a water creature made of water or a ghost with body that lets slashes through- then slashproof could be used by more kinds of pokemons and types, similar they could give bulletproof to a ghost type or pokemon with liquid body like Muk; this way we could get interesting pokemon)

Its not that much of the description where i go off, but on how some moves are animated. Like for example Aerial Ace doesn't say it slashes, but the animation suggests it.

Maby "Stabproof" from stabbing would fit better then slash?
moves like Neddle Arm and pin missile are also similar.

then claw , bite, fang , sword, blade, saber, needle and slash moves would fit into it?

Horn based attacks then fit stabing too, then maybe horn attacks wouldnt go to Ramproof but rather to Stabproof?

wanted something against blades, slashes and cuts, fangs and bites also should be included.
