What new gender differences would you like to have?

What Pokémon? I would really like a Blue or Red Jigglypuff. I like to see more different color gender difference. But if they started to do that ten it would start to screw everything up.

Multicolored Dunsparce.

eww if anything dunsparce should be done away with completely. It is the horribly deformed pokemon that should be put outta its misery.

Onto the real subject... A legendary pokemon that could be male or female WITH gender differences would be cool. specifically? I dunno Farfetch'd(different sticks), dewgong (fin differences), onyx (spikey rocks), mareep (color), and slacking(make-up like wobbofet maybe) i could see having some gender differences.

male gardevoir should look more male, or else we get more retards saying: "Gardevoir look woman, gardevoir be woman. No be man. We be conservative. Gardevoir no be man. Need have Gallade."

Male Ralts should stay somewhat the same, but Male Kirlia should get a new hairdo. Something where his hair is pulled back to look like Samurai would be cool.
And Sorry, but I just think that they should make Female Ralts turn into Gardevoir, and make Male ones turn into Gallade. I'm a total caveman.

And IMO, there should be more pokemon like Hippowdon with different colorings based on gender. It's much more visible than something small, like the size of a Scyther's abdomen changing...

Scyther's abdomen changing is actually more realistic because in real insects, the female is usually bigger. Or has a bigger abdomen that contains eggs. With Pokémon, it's usually function over form.

Having Pokémon be random colors wouldn't make a whole lot of sense for certain species. I actually really like how Pokémon went for a realistic approach to most gender differences. It's alot more original then having Pokémon come in girly colors or boy colors. Also, having Pokémon be stereotypical colors from a human prespective would only serve to make people prefer one gender over another. When there's really no need for that. I actually find it interesting how Gardevoir can come in both male and female, it's an indication of it's indeterminate lineage.

While it would be neat to have multi-colored Dunsparce, it doesn't make a lot of sense from a biological perspective because Dunsparce are usually underground where visual displays would be completely useless.

Get out.

I know about Scyther, but it isn't that noticeable... no matter how realistic it it.

And I agree with Dunsparce. I think that gender differences, should be based on stuff that actually happens IRL. But there are plenty of pokemon that could have some sort of realistic color change by gender. Some of the flower pokemon for instance. For example, Bulbasaur could have a Pink flower or a Red Flower depending on gender.

I think the subtle differences are neat! It really adds to the crazy amount of detail they put into these games.

Machamp in a bikini would be pretty awesome though xD

I agree with macho ideas. Bras. Please. I need the jokes to stop.

Except then people would say that Machokes of Machamps of other regions or nudists... augh.

What about May's bulbasaur? it have heart...that would make good gender difference :/

Not really. Again, you don't see female animals with heart-shaped marks in nature.

May's Bulbasaur having heart-shaped marks was the anime's way of making it abundantly clear that it's supposed to be explictly female. It doesn't mean that all female Bulbasaur have to have heart shaped marks.

Why should Pokémon have to follow human ideas on what's a masculine or feminine quality? Animals are sexually dimorphic because these differences are supposed to serve a purpose. Males having bigger horns and tusks makes sense since males would traditionally compete for females using these features.

No specific pokemon but just that all of them need to have the subtle differences that most have.

And make them a little bit less subtle.
