What other genres should the series explore?

So, Pokemom has experimented with a variety of genres, particularly in spin off games. The main series is primarily composed of role-playing games, there's dungeon crawlers, puzzle, action-adventure and the like. What could they attempt next, that would fit with the Pokemon world, and how would the genre be changed to fit a Pokemon game? :3

A pet raising simulator...? It's still really surprising that hasn't yet really been a thing.
Maybe it could be integrated in Pokémon Go? (I'm surprised noone has made an AR/VR pet raising simulator either?)
Technically there was a Pokémon pet game where you raised a Torchic on Pokémon Mini-- it was rather sophisticated for the system it was in.
And I guess there's the pokemon amie/refresh... but that's just not enough, I want to make them actually stronger.

There hasn't really been a proper action-adventure either... poképark was more focused on minigames than anything. I've been thinking of something along the lines or Mystery Dungeon, though that'd get very complicated. Unlocking progress gates would likely involve recruiting pokémon and those lending you help, more than the usual simply obtaining new tools or skills?
Though honestly, I'd really just like any action game you could just play as any pokémon with direct control

I like the idea of a story-centric Pokémon rhythm game, like a mix of Pokémon Trozei and Rhythm Thief. It can be more music-based than most rhythm games, using music from across the franchise; these tracks are played in the background while the player taps oncoming icons to the beat. Their speed depends on the set difficulty.

A platformer in the same vain as Mario or Mega Man. You also get to choose the Pokemon you want to play as. That will probably never happen but one can dream!

Pokemon Main series game could be a PMD like game, that's what I'm thinking of the game, plus I do enjoy PMD game.

First thing that would come to mind would be a Tactical RPG, which is something that PMD just doesn't quite fit this genre...

I've also been dreaming of a Pokémon game that's completely freeroam, in a similar fashion to Skyrim & Fallout 3, 4, & New Vegas.

Have you played 2? 2 barely has any mini games at all, there's only 4 of them in the entire game and you spent a lot more time exploring the areas and befriending Pokemon through battles, chases, etc.

more RPG like ? or like a shoottter fighting game? or maybe a stadium where you can battle 6 vs 6 moving and using 4 moves?
where the battle fields change and react like in the anime? waiting for a game more anime like.

You know... I was thinking, from watching Zelda BotW footage, maybe something like a pet simulator, but different; having classic pet raising and interaction features, but also having interactive environments to play with the Pokemon; breaking rocks, setting grass on fire, putting out the fires with water moves, freezing water, that sort of thing.

I hear a lot of fun derived from BotW is based around messing around with the physics, so hey, why not something focused on that *and* raising Pokemon :b

I'm not sure that manipulating the environment would really add much to a pet sim, pet sims are usually about the interaction with the pet, the environment usually doesn't play that kind of a role and I can't think of how it would. Honestly, I think that's something the main games could deal with once they make the jump to open world, it'd really enhance field moves if you could use them to cut down any tree, break any rock, climb any mountain, etc. I don't think we need a separate genre to explore that mechanic.

Technically a sub genre I guess, but an ARPG series that has no focus on trading and collecting, but instead is something a tad bit more generic and more single player focused is something I really want to see happen. Think something like Pokemon meets Xenoblade, but with proper encounters in the grass or other terrain. I dunno, I just really want to see a proper RPG style game with no evil team plot, gyms, trials or league to push you along, instead opting for a more fantastical setting with a proper villain(or antagonistic Pokemon) tied together with some proper lore, sidequests and such all around the overworld, etc.

I have flue, I dont know if it makes sense, but would rather want they focus on the main series itself and let genre experiments a little out or if they have to much time to do tchem then they can do that.

Rather would want some horror or comedy impelentations in the game.

Or a battle game based on a shooter, mortal combat experience like the new pokemon tekken games but rather that you run then only fight in one place? maybe a pokemon racing game with more pokemon?
