What other Pokemon characters would you want to see in Super Smash Bros?

Do you like Red in SSB?

Some people complained how he was a bit of a jerk (not that I think he was one) however ..He is Red after all. The same kid who went to "train" in a snowy dark mountain cave, and made no contact with anyone for weeks - months. He doesn't seem like the most social person ever.

He's pretty nice in my opinion. His voice is a lot different then I planned though. Honestly it's cute and fits his initial age (eleven).

If they put another Pokemon protagonist or Pokemon character in that wasn't a Pokemon, what would they call Red or them? Would they rename Red? Name the character their name or some generic title?

As (former) Champion of the Brawl Central Elite Four, I thought Red was awesome. A very interesting character (with a great pokemon for doing boss rush.

But I do want my Mewtwo back.

Dunno honestly. People thought he was a showoff. Remember this scene?

He sent out a Squirtle, sent it back to its Pokeball, and tried to leave Lucas behind after he noticed there were too many for him to take on with his little Squirtle. Also the wave he gives.

Mewtwo and Plusle-Minun were supposed to appear in Brawl however they were taken out. I can't recall the reason, but it was either space problems or time problems.

Yeah... no.

Pra & Mai were never proven to be Plusle and Minun, nor were they proved to be potential characters.
 
Maybe Ethan/Lyra? They could have the johto starters. I also would like to see mewtwo back for sure.

Well, yea. I know that but it's the safest assumition we can make.

Know any other Nintendo characters with anything related to "Pra" or "Mai"? Two characters with that can be tag-teamed?
 
Um...May/Brendan? They could be with the fully evolved Hoenn starters. Or Dawn/Lucas with the Sinnoh starters.

Maybe some more Pokemon should be unlocked as trophies (like Gallade and Deoxys).
 
We need a Gen 3 pokemon playable, and more from gens 4 and 2. Every character besides Pichu and Lucario, has been a gen 1 pokemon.

Attack Forme Deoxys can be already unlocked as a Trophy in SSBB giving that it appears as a Poké Ball summoning Pokémon.

I would like to see the return of Mewtwo and Pichu though with slightly different movesets and behavior than Lucario and Pikachu so they aren't labelled as clones. I'm also up for the return of some previous Poké Ball Pokémon that were missing from SSBB such as Zapdos or Raikou.

On a similar perspective I would like to play on arenas/stages inspired off scenary from Hoenn, Kanto or the Sevii Islands.
 
Well, I'll let you guess who I thought should have appeared alongside Red...

As far as Pokemon themselves, I think Snorlax should actually be playable.

That sounds..Pretty mediocre honestly. Snorlax aren't exactly fast or energetic.

Anyway, on trainers..I can't think of any one that I can see being portrayed in the games. Maybe Leaf, but that's all.
 
Arceus whose Smash move uses it's 1000 hands to crush everything in it's path, then summons a meteor to kill them all.

Actually I would have liked to have played with Dawn/Lucas instead of Red as then, they were the newest games. Maybe have them playable in the next one?

Or maybe put Mewtwo back in.

I actually thought of this except my idea was: his name would be rival trainer, and his pokes would be opposite of red's, so a bulbasaur, charmeleon, and blastoise.

Space and time?...you know... what if they put... never mind.

When I found out that Plusle and Minun were supposed to appear, I was so angry! They better put them in the next SSB game. I say in the next one, they take out Snake. Not that I have anything against him, but he just doesn't seem to fit in with all the other characters.
