Theres tons of speculation about who will catch what, for both the twerps and Team Rocket. So this thread is something different; what Pokemon do you NOT want to see caught by a main cast member?


Despite all of the hopes of what seems to be every single fan, I really don't want to see Ash with a Riolu or Lucario.
 
Probopass! What is all the commotion about Probopass!? I just don't understand why people want Ash to catch a Probopass!
 
Those people were kidding...at least I hope so.

I hope no one catches Spiritomb or Rilou/Lucario. I just hope the writers don't fuck up by listening to n00bish fans all the damn time. Quit being predictable!

The way how it is written there always make me and my brother laugh. But it would be wierd to see Ash have a Peobopass.

One other Pokemon I can't imagine Ash having is a Yanmega. I think they're a cool pokemon, but I don't think Ash would look or do good with one.
 
Probopass and Spiritomb would be awesome, but I DEFINATELY don't see him getting either...plus, that Probopass is owned by a trainer.

Disagree. A Spiritomb would suit James perfectly. :cool:
 
A part of me is hoping Spiritomb joins with Team Rocket to get revenge on "the Aura User", but then becomes comically evil. Like as in over-the top crazy psycho...

OH! Things I don't want...well...Gallade. I like him, but that seems to be setting up to many odd fanart,
 
I agree about Riolu/Lucario, it's too favored by fans and i think it would just be better not being captured.

Of course there isn't, but that's just cause i'm not British. It's one of those pokemon that's obnoxiously liked by every single n00b and it's just plain annoying.
 
The way things are going and the n00bs being right about everything, Rilou will be given to Ash, Misty will come back, and May will get a Johto spinoff.
 
No Finneon or Manatyke, please. We don't need a repeat of Misty's Goldeen. Plus they're boring Pokemon anyway, so they just need fillers. Also, no Togekiss either. We don't need to see a random copout with Togetic coming back out of nowhere and evolving, its story is all wrapped up and buried.

Then there are some people who want Dawn to get a Budew! WTF! Don't we have enough Roselia's on this show? I can't believe I see this requested on various forums, that line is overused between two rivals and a Gym leader, we don't need Dawn to get one too.
 
If Dawn's going to get ANY grass-type, I reckon it'll be Cherubi/Cherrim. Key word there is "if".

I would hate to see Ash with Riolu/Lucario, it would get boring seeing him use it all the time. Besides, there are other happiness evos in the 4th gen, such as Chingling. Although, Ash with Chingling would be pretty weird. It does say a lot about how D/P's turned out so far though. But, I digress.

For Dawn, I don't mind what she gets. It will probably have a cuteness factor though - the rest of her team does, even Buizel to an extent. Speaking of, I'm not too bothered about this Aipom/Buizel trading fiasco.

Brock's an odd one. I don't really see any pattern in his team (Croagunk, Sudowoodo and Happiny. What's up with that set?). Not too bothered.

For Jessie, I'm going to bend the rules a little. I don't want to see Dustox on her team for much longer. It just doesn't need to be there, since she only ever seems to use Seviper. I wouldn't want it replaced by something similar though, such as Mothim.

As for James, I would absolutely hate it if Mime Jr. evolved. Part of its charm is its cuteness factor. Also, I'd rather not have his next Pokémon do a Victreebel-style harm him as a sign of affection thing. His Carnivine and Ash's Turtwig do that well enough, as did Cacnea and (of course) Victreebel.

Also nobody should get a fish Pokémon - as Misty's Goldeen showed, they're useless out of water.
 
I also don't want to see Riolu or Lucario, especially not with Ash...

Dawn no Budew I'll agree with, but lets see what Mantyke can do before we write it off.
 
Garchomp. I don't understand why people want Ash to get it, but one (Cynthia's) is enough. Plus, I could easily see it becoming another Charizard.
 
Now that Dawn has Aipom I actually kinda hope it cancels out a Buneary evolution. Since Aipom is still likely to evolve I'd like Buneary to stay small.

I think it'd be cool if Ash had a Floatzel and Dawn have an Ambipom (I don't know if that episode was shown yet where they trade, if they didn't yet, ooops). D:

James has become a real grass collector, hasn't he? I don't wanna see any Burmies join either team, but Jessie would look good with a Stunky. I think we had enough of Munchlax, haven't we?
