What pokemon will be the main powerhouse in Ash's team in Sinnoh League?

I would say Chimchar/Monferno/Infernape - its starting to get over its fears, its blaize is very powerful and if it learns a fighting move as a monferno that would be cool.
 
Lol, what Buizel can't evolve?

I'd have to say "Monferno" (hasn't evolved yet but is confirmed) because so far it's shown to be the strongest Pokemon Ash has right now, and it looks a lot stronger than Pikachu (since it's been doing nothing this saga).

And even though I would like one of Ash's other Pokemon to be the main powerhouse, I just can't see it.

No one said it couldn't, but with the way its going, i can't see it evolving anytime soon, unless we are in for a surprise later on

Even still Torterra and Infernape are on the list. I think Buizel has a better chance of evolving before the league than Grotle does.

Really? With volkner, an electric gum with two other types I am not sure if buizel will be used that much them, if any. It was used in Wakes Gym because of Floatsel, it could prove it could just be as powerful as it even without evolving. So unless we see a reason, maybe Paul battles might help and some other times, I can't see evolution for buizel before the league.
 
Actually I am not sure who will evolve and who won't, but I am sure at some point Ash will have one of his Sinnoh Starters fully evolved, either this or they will stay as Monferno and grotle, but I see no reason for that to happen. We already have Starraptor and Gliscor, just buizel left to evolve.
 
Glion is silly, but she's still extremely powerful.
She'll definitely have her moments too.
 
It's gonna be Chimmy. Ash will face that smug jerk, Paul...who will think he will cruise to an easy victory over the weak Chimchar he abandoned, and Chimchar/Monferno will absolutely destroy him.
 
I got my money on Chimchar. With the amount of battles it's winning and character development it'll sure be able to be a powerful Infernape/Monferno
 
If Buizel evolves, Floatzel. Otherwise I'd go with da monkey like everyone else.
 
Nah I don't see Buizel evolving, though I'd love it if it did. Just so i can be proved wrong about my anime rule that every pokemon who fights (and usually beats) their evolved form doesnt evolve (unless they evolve into something else like Mistys Polytoed who fought a Polywrath as a Polywhirl). We know Chimchars going all the way due to the lack of showing of its evolved forms. Same reason we always knew Piplup wouldnt and that Grotle wont go any further. Though if I'm wrong about any of that, I'd be happy!

But yeah its gonna be Chimchars time to shine, although Staraptor is a beast and should be shown as more powerful than it has been.
 
I picked chimchar because who doesnt enjoy a nice powerful fire type?

But i cnt rly see buizel evolving, if it does great, if it doesnt, then thts ok, but grotle is going to remain grotle

Gliscor is still getting used to battling and pikachu and staraptor are still very powerful on their own
 
I think the one to dominate the most in the Sinnoh league will be Chimmy/Monferno/Infernape. It's going to evolve, it has done amazing in the past 3 gym battles, not to mention it's probably the strongest Sinnoh pokemon.

Buizel, Grotle, Staraptor, and Gliscor will of course follow but I think Chimmy is the star of the Sinnoh league.

As for Pikachu, I think it's going to get some great battles so I'm not worried about it.
 
Moferno won't be the star.

Sure, it'll have its limelight, and probably be the secondary powerhouse in the league. But it won't be the star.

Personally, I think its limelight will be reserved for Paul, where it (hopefully) evolves into Infernape.

I think either Staraptor or Buizel will be the actual star.

Buizel's been the star in gyms... I really don't see them over-doing it too much more with him. Surely he'll have his important wins in the League, but star? Nah.

Lol if it turns out to be Gliscor.
