What Pokemon will you ever only have 1 of?

I just recently finished completing the Pokedex with every Pokémon and the evolved forms (took me forever but its been done) all placed in the Pokémon Bank.

In my long process to get each Pokémon, I was coming across Pokémon who I absolutely despise or didn't want to evolve from a certain one that I don't want to waste. So got me thinking if I was alone with certain ones or what other pokemon were, in lack of a better word, hated and why.

I hate getting Slaking - its amazing overall stats are the only thing I like about this Pokémon, I hate its design and of course its horrible ability. Im not a competitive battler but I do know its trick for double battles but even if I was, I still wouldn't be able battle with it and its horrible design. I really wish they would bring a better Gorilla based Pokémon. if restart a AS or OR, I catch a Slakoth and evolve it to Vigoroth, that's where it stays.

Jynx - I don't think I have to go much further on that one.

If this subject belongs somewhere else, I apologize in advance

Only one Delphox. Mine has sort of a special place as my "first" Pokemon after I wiped all the data from my long standing past saves to marathon the series when XY was new. Having a 2nd just doesn't feel right.

Also, only one Sylveon unless we get some sort of new evolution requirement that isn't completely tedious...As much as I love Sylveon, I am not doing that again. lol.

There are many pokemons I don't even bother catching anymore. Most of the pokemon in my Y version are the same ones from FRLG, RSE, DP, BW etc. I just transfer them from gen to gen to have them in the pokedex and most of them have never seen the light of day. I keep them in the boxes forever so I don't need to have more than 1 of those.

Delibird, Unown, Dunsparce and almost every fairy type except for Xerneas, Fairy Arceus and Mega Altaria.

Along with Pokemon I am not a fan of (Jynx, Hitmonlee, elemental monkeys), I also tend to only have 1 Pokemon that are legendaries or can be a bitch and a half to get. Spiritomb was one I can think off the top of my head in Gen IV. Other Pokemon that I have a lot of trouble getting are the ones who use stones like a Shiny Stone or a Dusk Stone. Those you get with the Super Training and sometimes I'll get lucky getting the stones I need, most of the time they'll just give me garbage that I don't want. Looks like I'll only have one Togekiss and Aegislash in my box.

The ones that I have too specific of associations with I probably won't use again.

-After my many years of pokemon fanfiction with a trainer that uses Chimecho/Armaldo/Milotic and in which those pokemon also sometimes have their own adventures, I can't help but see those pokemon in that same context, along with some of the other major pokemon characters from that story. I don't want to feel like I'm roleplaying my characters when I'm not writing them.

-There are also the Magcargo and Garchomp from my sci fi series which have evolved into intelligent being and escaped with some other imaginary species out of a dying universe and beyond. It's kind of hard to see those pokemon as just dumb animalistic pokemon after using them such a complex story, so I would feel uncomfortable using them in-game.

-Ariados, Unown, and Onix from my recent Crystal playthrough where they all got to level 70+ and because I also started a Family Guy-style story about an Ariados whose trainer died and who she reanimates with Psychic powers to sell cocaine, and hires Unown and Onix as bodyguards. It would feel too weird to not use them as a unit together, and also to be honest it was painful training them sometimes. If I use Unown again, it's not getting past level 20.

this is not something i have ever thought about, honestly. even the mons i don't like i don't necessarily have a limit on. i'm not really a fan of most unova lines, though, especially not the vanillite and patrat lines, but i definitely have at least two or three members of both lines on my copies of bw2

typically if i don't like a certain pokemon i just won't catch it. completing the pokedex was never something that i worried myself over and i've only done it once or twice (once in red, the other in platinum, i think), so it's never been a huge issue for me

What Pokémon do I want one of? Every Pokémon. Catching duplicates just waste space in Bill's PC. I even refuse to catch evolved Pokémon when the unevolved form is catchable. I'm more interested in completing the Pokédex than getting duplicates of my favorites.

Any of the Pokemon you find on the first routes when you first start the game. Also Stantler, I don't need more than one of those.

Any shiny pokemon that I find I usually have one of unless I am putting the other one in the other game.
