Game!Brock and random-nurse or anime!Brock? Because I see no reason for random_nurse_# to date game!Brock. He's handsome, nice, not a perv, and he's at least eighteen.

I spent about an hour looking for a trainer that owned a Tauros for that joke.

Well, they are NPCs either way. And in the OP it says 'major' NPCs, unless it's a mistake...

Plus, I don't think I support any ships with 'random' NPCs...lemme think...

...Maybe one-sided Irwin x Lyra (From Irwin's part of course) and Celio x Leaf if Celio counts. :/
 
I for some random reason ship the fat guy who's face disappears with the girl who doesn't want to try anything in the dark. Yes, I know, two different regions, generations, countreys...
 
The Player's Mum and the guy who gives you the stuff Mum buys for you in the Pokemart (HG/SS)
 
That one guy in Wattson's gym going on about Wattson's shiny head / Wattson himself.

That Devon member you meet in the woods / Professor Birch.

Irwin/any player character. Especially Irwin/Ethan. XD
 
Is Lorlei a "random" NPC? I'm unsure..She doesn't appear in HGSS or GSC, but she is somewhat major.

Oh, I also ship:

onesided May/Brendan's brother
onesided Lyra/Elm's son.
 
this is an interesting topic :C

i can't think of any "random npc" pairings from the main series that i ship, but i have a lot from the ranger games... angler/brook is my ranger otp <3
