What Running gags will there be in Pokemon the Series: Sun and Moon

I Mean, Will there Be A Running Gag with a Mimikyu Stalking Ash's Pikachu, will Team Rocket continuously try to Catch Pikachu and End Up Catching Mimikyu instead, and Release it because It's not what they wanted to catch; Will James constantly have His Back Broken by a Bewear's Hug?! What Running gags will they Come up with for this New Season of the Anime?!? Will Lillie Get Shocked by Pikachu when they First Meet(Like Iris and Bonnie got the Shock treatment in B&W and Pokemon the Series: XY) There is SO Many Possibilities for this kind of stuff; Share with me your Ideas and Speculations for what Running Gags could be Added to Pokemon the Series: Sun and Moon

I reckon the Bewear hug gag would probably happen.

I think that Litten scorching Ash in the face may end up being rather common. Or, more likely, Ash getting attacked by Alola Pokemon in general due to accidentally annoying them in some form or another, most likely due to his youthful fascination for Pokemon and desire to understand them (a Grubbin did clamp his nose in one scan, along with the aforementioned face scorching). I could also see (possibly TRio's) Mimikyu getting jealous of Pikachu and helping TRio with any scheme in order to prove it's better than Pikachu (though if it does become a TRio Pokemon, I'd rather it go to James, since he's the sympathetic and more understanding one of the group). Sudden Bewear hug attacks I could see as becoming commonplace, though I don't think it'll be a TRio Mon (or at least not "officially"), as I think it'll just a wild one wanting some hugs.

Great Ideas, I'd have never have thought of those myself; But I see things other than yours happening, such as Ash Accidentally Touching his Evolved Rowlet's Or Dartrix's hair, and Getting Pecked by it for that, or Have the Alolan forms of Team Rocket, A Team Skull Trio with an Alolan Meowth(Which I Could see Meowth getting a Crush on) Constantly Fighting with Team Rocket (I personally Hope that Ash gets a Rowlet AND a Popplio but not a litten) or Having his Nighttime Sleep Interrupted by a Pikipek Pecking on the Wood of wherever He's staying on his Journey through Alola

I Agree, It'd be a Missed Oppurtunity if they didn't, Plus It'd be a Cool Callback to a Similar Running gag with James and his Cacnea, only instead of the Hug being dreaded for its spikes, it'd be dreaded for its Back-breaking Strength(giving the Term Bear Hug a NEW and Much more truthful Meaning).

I second Bewear literal bear hug on either anyone or James if it ends up with him, that and maybe even confusing Alolan Exeggutor for a normal palm tree

Ash's Rowlett going "notice me sempai" on either Ash-Greninja or Noctowl whenever a PokePelago episode happens. It would be so hilarious to see it try to mimic them in order to be considered cool.

Also, Ash getting confused by the Alolan Forms and other things like the Island Trials is a must since he's used to how things were in the other regions.

With the recent trailer, I think I can safely confirm that my prediction of Ash getting beaten up by Alola Pokemon as a running gag will happen. In the newest trailer for the anime, he get "tail whipped" by an angry Alolan Exeggutor's tail, and gets trampled by a trio of Tauros. So I think it's safe to say that Ash will be at the mercy of slapstick shenanigans this time around.

Maybe having random Pokemon trying to eat (unsuccessfully of course!) Mallow's Bounsweet. Each time the gang sees this though, they always mistake it for playing with the seemingly well-intentioned Pokemon. Black humor, Pokemon style.
