What "songs" do you like the most in pokemon games?

I don't know if a topic about this already exists... but.. since I haven't found anything about this, I'll make a topic...

What are the musics/"songs"/themes you like the most from the pokemon games?

In terms of ambient music from the games, I like:
- Mewtwo's cave and Indigo Plateuau (1st gen)
- National Park, Lake of rage, Blackthorne city and Tin Tower (2nd gen)
- Dewford, Slateport, Lilycove, Battle Frontier (and that route near the Weather institute...can't remeber the name...), and Mt.Pyre (3rd gen)

...well, I'm not too much into the 4th gen games yet... so I'm not going to talk about their themes, but feel free to talk about them...

In terms of battle music I like:
- Rival battle (1st gen and 3rd gen) (vs "Gary" and vs May/Brendan)
- Legendary "dogs" (pokemon Crystal)
- Team Magma/Aqua Boss; The regis theme and Kyogre/Groudon theme(3rd gen)

I think most people like the credits music, but the ones I like the most are the 2nd gen and the 3rd gen "End themes"

Right about anything on the 3rd gen games, except for the pokemon center.
 
Gen 1 - Cinnabar Island, Cerulean City, Vermillion City, Celadon City, and Viridian City.

Gen 2 - love so many from this game. Cherrygrove, Burnt Tower, the first 2 and the 4th route songs in the game (outside New Bark, Violet, and between Ecruteak and Olivine, Mt Silver's cave song which plays in a number of caves in Johto and Dark cave's song.

Gen 3 - Mt Chimney on the top, team Magma's encounter theme, the team battle theme, Slateport City, Route 119, Route 120 and Lilycove City.

Gen 3 FRLG - I practicaly like the whole game. The top two are Cinnabar Island (a song I've listened to again and again ever since I heard it way back in 2004) and Silph co because when you listen to the song on a computer/GBA with headphones that are only half in, it's the coolest, freakiest song ever.

Gen 4 - Champion theme, the music that plays by Pal Park and north of Kurogane, the music from the route between Zui and Tobari, the jazzy song that plays north of that Resort place (it is just incredible how catchy and relaxing it is) and Kurogane.

Those are just my top favorites.
 
All the music in Gen III is awesome. But my favorites are in D/P, Canalave City and Solaceon Town.
 
I don't remember Gen 3 at all.

Gen 1 - Vermilion City or Lavender Town
Gen 2 - Violet City

I LOVE Violet City's <333333
 
Gen1- Lavender Town, Viridian Forest, Route 1 (yeah, I know everyone else hates those)
Gen2- Slowpoke's Well, Route 46, Tin Tower

To be completely honest, I don't really remember any of the newer songs that vividly.
 
never actually heard 4th gen music(despite playing through the game twice now lol) and I don't remember the music from gens 2 & 3 but I still get the gen 1 overworld themes stuck in my head from time to time.
 
Gen I-III: The CELADON CITY THEME SONG

My favorite melody of all time. I've been whistling or humming that song for nine years.


Otherwise, I like the Slateport City theme.
I don't play any Gen IV games with the sound on, it's unbearable.
 
The Route 210 theme is the best of all of Sinnoh, certainly.

I liked the National Park music in Johto... and of course Cycling Road in Kanto. Hoenn, maybe Route 120/121.
 
My favourites would be:
All of 4th gen music. It's even better when plugging the DS into speakers.lol

The Suicune battle in crystal.

All of 1st gen music aswell. It's nalstagic for me.=)

The Magma/Aqua Boss theme and Groudon Kyogre theme. Battle fronteir music and Battle brain battle music.

LG and FR pretty much all due to being remix of 1st gen with special mention to the final battle with gary which I was surprised how much they improved it.

I think that's about it.=)
 
Basically all Gen III music except pokemon center, love route 113 music

Most of D/P music, yeah and I plugged in headphones too! But I like gen III music best and mt moon music and
Lavender Town music too.
 
Dialgia/Palkia Battle at Spear Pillar! Especially the Super Smash Bros. Brawl version.
 
Well I can't really say one in specific, but Crystal/Gold/Silver has definativelly my favorite soundtrack. I even like the title menu's tune... >.>
 
I'm thinking the Gym Leader/Elite Four battle theme in G/S/C, mainly because it actually sounds intimidating unlike the other Gym Leader/Elite Four themes.

The first gen Lavender Tower music (in all its eight bit glory. It was a wonderfully simple bit of creepiness), the Team Rocket music (both versions- first gen and advanced) the bike music, the night Pokemon center music in DP (so soothing).
 
I'll admit I play Pokemon Mystery Dungeon more than the originals.

Same here! I thought the music when you go to the Hidden Land is awesome (I have it on my iPod), as well as the slow music box like music. The boss battle music improved in MD2. Ish awesomness.

Wigglytuff's theme music is amusing. xD

Now for regulars:

I like a lot of the battle music, including PBR. Again, ish awesome. Um, Sinnoh champ, lake trio, Palkia/Dialga, Arceus, Giratina/Heatran/Darkrai, you name it.

To make a long post short, I like all video game music. :p
 
I'd say alot of the Team battle music from Generation II onwards is pretty awesome to hear. But the legendary canine battles in G/S/C made me feel alot like this wasn't any ordinary Pokemon (duh) but something different. Also, the Victory Road/Mt. Silver music is rad.
