What the heck happened to Pokemon!?

Back in the day, it was all natural, now, it's all about LEGENDARYS(spelled wrong)now a days. You see, I was playing Black last night on GTS Negogations, and this guy wanted my Mewtwo level 100, for a freaking piplup level 1! i could grab my AR and cheat one, or just and mate my Empoleon! The world of anime pokemon also changed
-Ash is still 10!?
-He has NO Pokemon, I mean, AGAIN :disgust:
-He acts like a complete idiot
-and what is up whith a guy named Trip!? they just ran out of ideas.....

Or forget it and search for a better trade... or get people friend codes from here and actually discuss with them what you and they would like to trade, then trade with them after both sides decided they're happy with it

There's no "new world", there's one world that gets improved and changed with the time, which is obvious for something that ran over more than 10 years... you can't expect everything to stay EXACTLY the same... but the basics never changed and will probably never change

Actually, I think he's expressing what a lot of people have been expressing, the regression of the pokémon animé in some aspects. Throughout AG and DP, it felt like Ash was progressing and getting stronger and stronger. The writers were also getting better and better with meaningful storylines, well written battles, etc.

But that's been thrown out the window as of late.

Still, I think there's some nice things that we've seen, some refreshing things like Dento, Team Rocket and Team Plasma...

-EVERY Trade in the GTS is unfair. Even when asking for Legends as well!
-It was mentioned in an interview at PokeBeach apparently. Turns out he really meant the idea of him never aging.
-Where have you been the past few months? He's been alternating between 7 Pokemon as of recent episodes and evolved two of them.
-Of course he acts like an idiot! That's the big problem there!
-Haven't a clue.

-The world hasn't changed my friend, it's just the modernization of the concept that happened. The art style back in Gen I and Gen II feels out of date even when compared to other art styles at the time, and those games lacked pretty much everything I'm used to in the games now, such as actually battling the version mascot in the storyline near the end of the game, Abilities, and other things.

But, back on topic. Pokemon is the exact same it's always been just cleaner animation and colors.

I'm not sure what actual criticism you have of the series. It's clear you're posting your opinions based on your nostalgia for the Kanto/Johto anime series.

I watch pokemon infrequently, but I do know that your concerns are unfounded.
