What type of trainer would you be???

This is mostly based on the Pokémon games…
In this thread you get to imagine that you are a Pokémon trainer within the world of Pokémon. Think about your journey then choose the route you will take to become a Pokémon master

First off ill like to tell you the guidelines you’ll be following…

Choose your region…
You may choose the region you wish to have your journey take place, this can be Johto (gen1), Kanto (gen2), Hoenn (gen3), Sinnoh (gen4) or Unova (gen5). you my also chose a city or town to start at.

Choose your trainer…
You may chose if you are a boy or girl and what type of trainer you are, this can include the main 2 sprites you can choose from at the start of a game (eg. Hoenn girl would be the may/sapphire character), you may also choose from any other standard trainers (eg. Male bug catcher or male dragon tamer or female ace trainer…).

Choose your starter…
You may choose your starter Pokémon but it has to be within the following guidelines…
Your starter has to remain true to the region you have chosen (eg. Kanto starters can only be chosen in Kanto) however if you don’t want any of the given starters you may choose a Pokémon found on the first 1-4 routes that come off your town/city (eg. if you choose pewter city in kanto you can also have anything from routes 2 and 3 including vederian forest and mt moon basicly this can include water, forests and caves) if you do choose this for a starter it must once again be found in the region you have chosen.

The rest of the team…
You may choose a total of 8 Pokémon and you have to say how and why you got them; this must include your starter (this will be first in your team) and 5 more of your choice for your main party as well as 2 in reserve. All Pokémon must be true to your region unless you state that you got them in a trade or by other means… I am also allowing for the choice to have one shiny as well as one legendary (must read rules)

RULES (the fun part):
1. All bulbagarden rules apply
2. No excessive posting of different/same team
3. You can rate/comment other people’s teams but there is to be no/limited criticising
4. Starter Pokémon cannot be shiny or legendary
5. Legendries if chosen cannot be shiny
6. Do not exceed 8 Pokémon
7. If someone breaks the rules you are not obligated to become the police
8. If you do want a legendary it can only be one of the following; Articuno, Zapdos, Moltres, Raikou, Entei, Suicune, Regirock, Regice, Registeel, Latias, Latios, Heatran, Cresselia, Phione, Manaphy, Darkri, Shaymin, Cobalion, Terrakion, Virizion, Thundurus, Tornadus, Landorus or Keldeo

Virizion (befriended and caught in pinwheel forest)
