What types do you want the Gen VI gyms to be? Or do you want a complete overhaul of the gyms, with other themes instead (eg. gyms based on stats)?

This is what I think the gyms should be:

1. Attack
2. Defense
3. Sp. Attack
4. Speed
5. Rain
6. Sandstorm
7. HP restoring moves
8. Pseudo legendaries

What do you think the gyms should be?

I want a gym of every type that has teams of varying levels depending on in what order you challenge them.

I don't know, but no more Electric and Water gyms for a while, please. We've had three generations in a row with those gyms (Wallace/Juan, Crasher Wake and Cress/Marlon, and Wattson, Volkner and Elesa). All I know is that the Elite Four should be:

1) Grass
2) Normal
3) Rock
4) Electric
Champion: Various types

... And we definitely need a Dark-type gym.

Dark type times infinity.

Also wouldn't mind a Steel type, possibly as the very last gym.

Am I the only one who missed a Rock Gym as the first gym? I know Gen II did not have it too, but I do not really care about this generation...
I want it back. >_> Well, I would like this following types in Gen VI:

  • Rock
  • Fighting
  • Psychic
  • Fire
  • Dark
  • Bug (Female leader pls)
  • Steel
  • Ghost (since Gen V had a Ghost E4, Gen VI will most likely have a leader)
But to be honest, as long as they do not bring another freaking Electric or Water Gym, I will be fine.
If they do bring another Electric Gym, they should make a non-blonde/white-haired leader... Just for the sake of originality.

1. Normal
2. Fighting
3. Dark
4. Ghost
5. Fire
6. Rock
7. Steel
8. Psychic

Rock, Flying, Ground, Fire, Steel, Ice, Psychic, Dark.

Nothing too special, but it would keep the game feeling fresh.

I already thought of the Pokemon they own.
Electric- Blitzle, Pikachu
Ground- Diglett, Sandshrew, Drilbur, Sandile
Grass- Deerling, Roselia, Lombre
Flying- Pidgeotto, Swellow, Staravia, Tranquil, Noctowl
Rock- Graveler, Graveler, Boldore, Aerodactyl
Steel- Lairon, Bastidon, Skarmory, Empoleon, Scizor, Lucario
Fire- Ninetails, Arcanine, Infernape, Chandelure, Flareon, Charizard
Dark- Weavile, Umbreon, Houndoom, Sharpedo, Shiftry, Honchcrow

Am I the only one who missed a Rock Gym as the first gym?

Why do you hate fire-type starters?

Anyway, I'd like to see the games continue what gen 5 has done with the first gyms and make them equally difficult type-wise, for all three starters. Other than that, I don't have much of an opinion, but I guess a female bug-type leader would be nice.

GYMS
1. DARK
2. GROUND
3. BUG
4. GRASS
5. GHOST
6. POISON
7. FIRE
8. STEEL

ELITE FOUR
1. NORMAL
2. ELECTRIC
3. FLYING
4. ROCK

Gyms or Elite Four types that I think are ideal:
- Dark, especially as a Gym, because we haven't have one yet.
- Grass, because we don't have enough of them. Elite Four would be ideal.
- Flying
- Fire
- Poison, as there are a lack of them.
- Steel

If there is a type I think needs a rest, that would be Water. We have too many Water specialists already.

However, I won't be opposed to Gyms based around strategies rather than type. Sure, types are easier to identify, but a Gym based around a type of strategy is bound to shake things up. Things like Trick Room, Wonder Room and Gravity needs more love. Perhaps there could be a Gym based around only a usage of one colour (mono-Colour) too.

Thanks for reading.

Definately Gen 6 should introduce a Dark type gym. We haven't had once since Dark type was introduced in Gen 2, I think it's time we got one. Id also like to see some types that haven't had many gyms such as Ghost and Steel and Grass. I would have to say no Water or Electric gym, give those types a rest for now. I might like to see:
1. Dark
2. Steel
3. Grass
4. Poison
5. Ghost
6.Fire
7. Psychic
The 8th, Id like to see someone like Blue in GSC that has a mixed type team. I think he was good as a gym leader and had a team of different types and the battle was challenging. I definately wouldn't mind seeing that again.

I want a gym of every type that has teams of varying levels depending on in what order you challenge them.

That's what I wanted for years but if they can't do that I say dual type gyms. Or here's a crazy idea make a region with 8 dark gyms to balance it out and balance that mess out with all the other encounters.
