The next few months is going to be one helluva time for every game console. If you ask me, even with GTAIV being pushed to 08, the remainder of Q3 and all of Q4 may be the biggest period for killer ap titles in history. So, why not discuss what new releases we're hoping to buy?

This would be my list, being that I only own Wii and DS and don't plan on getting another system for a while. Unless any of these games absolutely bomb then I plan on purchasing all of them.

Metroid Prime 3: Corruption
Battalion Wars 2
Soul Calibur Legends
Smash Bros. Brawl


DS-
Phantom Hourglass
Contra IV


I have a trip to Boston and a trip to NYC before the end of the year, so I don't plan to go overboard. I'll probably ask for another Wii game for Christmas, what exactly I don't know. Maybe Guitar Hero III, or Trauma Center: New Blood. Considering how damn long it is, Fire Emblem: GoD's going to have to wait until 2008, and Galaxy will probably be huge so that's another one for next year, same with No More Heroes, provided that even makes it to America in 2007. Oh yeah, if it's pretty good, I'll probably get Ninja Gaiden DS as a Christmas gift also.

Starcraft 2 if its out by then. (Can't remember release date)

lol, I don't know all of the games that're out, but I intend to own Halo 3, Super Smash Bros. Brawl, and Super Mario Galaxies.

I can't believe that no one has mentioned Spore. It's like totally revolutionary! Too bad it won't be coming out for a while.
 
Another game that I want that won't be out until 2008 is Final Fantasy IV DS. It is a 3D remake similar to Final Fantasy III DS.

Probably the last game I'll get for by the end of the year is Legend of Zelda: Phantom Hour Glass, but I need to play and beat Wind Waker first.
 
Final Fantasy Tictacs (no typo, I always call it that) Advance 2 on the DS. Though it's very unlikely it'll make it to US shores by the end of year... (Oct release in Japan)

Bioshock, but first I need to get the PC demo so that I can make sure my rig will be able to run at a playable rate.

Hm, yeah, that's it.
