What was the saddest part in Pokemon?

Mine was the end scene in Bye Bye Butterfree, still brings a tear to my eye. First time I saw it, cryed my eyes out. Could'nt they just not see the Butterfree in the distance, or Brock just see an Officer Jenny and forget about it?

Personally, I've always felt very very sad any time Team Rocket has had to let go of any of their Pokemon. The episode in Advanced Generation where they did so after fending off the Pokemon poacher particularly comes to mind.

Other than that, ehm, when May left I felt rather sad. Then again it was nothing to Misty's goodbye. I sobbed like a baby after that episode. D':

I found Bye Bye Butterfree sad, especially the first time I saw it (man it shook me up T_T) but it kinda pales in comparison to various other eps when I don't watch it with the rose-tinted goggles of nostalgia.

Goodbye Dokucale, of course... As for movies, The Birth of Myuutsu. Bawl.

Really? I pumped my fist and had a celebration after that ep. (XD) That's when half the fans had a breakdown and the popularity of the show went down the toilet.

My saddest moments? when Ash died in the first movie. Makes me cry EVERY time I watch that part. Worse, when I was about 2 it was the first movie I ever saw in the theaters. Even then I must've had a little baby fangirl growing inside me, because when he died while the 10-year-old boys in the theater were laughing at him, I was crying along with Pikachu. I stopped crying when he came back to life. (true story.)

Then in the 8th movie when Ash was killed and Pikachu started to cry. It really got me when Ash said "I Love You" to Pikachu and Pikachu didn't want him to die, but it couldn't save him. It killed me to watch it cry, and the first time I saw the movie I cried a little around that part.

"A Scare To Remember" made me pretty sad all through the flashbacks. Same thing with the ep "Pikachu's Goodbye."

I think that's it. Mainly Pikashipping moments.

Definetely (referring to Mewtwo's Origin). You cannot tell me you didn't even tear up watching it.

Yeah, The Birth Of Mewtwo/Mewtwo's Origin was pretty sad, but there lies a shipping(if there's no name yet I'm naming it Starlightshipping)

I probably would've found it sad if the opening theme hadn't been playing. I don't know what they were thinking with that.

Anytime Kojiro gives up a Pokemon it makes me sad because he always ends up crying. Not looking forward to Manene's departure.

Usually the episode(s) where a main character's Pokemon leaves the cast. They make the episode especially heartwarming even though some of the pokemon had VERY little screentime or overall significance.

The Dustox episode was the saddest one, no doubts.

Ugh, same T_T
I think the only reason Musashi's only had one teary farewell is because the only pokes she's left so far are Beroringa (that was such a joke anyway), Arbok (which was sad, but neither M nor K cried) and Dokucale.

I just remembered that when I saw the Jirachi movie I was crying at the end. They really tugged on your heart strings with that song.

All releases. Butterfree was sad. Weezing and Arbok was sad. Chimecho was sad. Cacnea was really sad. And Dustox was also sad. Why do they always release them? T.T

Really, I was laughing at Brock's attempt at singing the lullaby. But when Max stopped singing and started crying I was pretty sad, me being a Max fan.

The episode Pika almost left and the ep Misty left are my two favorite episodes and two of the lots of eps that made me cry (Butterfree, Chari, etc...)

I've only seen it in Japanese, so I'll just take your word for it.

But when Max stopped singing and started crying I was pretty sad, me being a Max fan.

The funny thing is, that was probably the first time I had seen Masato in anything. Now that I've seen some AG I don't really like him that much, but it still makes me teary eyed.

It's always sad for me when Team Rocket lets go of their pokemon (especially Jessie/Dustox & James/Chimecho).

Also when Ash died the second time (The First Movie).

Whenever someone releases a Pokemon it's sad. I've never cried from any of them, but I've gotten pretty close to crying.
The saddest moment for me would have to be when James left Chimecho.
