What was your favorite Battle Frontier match?

Well, this is going to be the last “What was your favorite…” considering I have already covered; GFs, Gym Leaders and
Contests.

Now this is not going to include Ash’s match with Palmer considering it was not an official frontier battle along with the fact that it wasn’t a Kanto BF match or the one where Paul fought Brandon.

Looking back over all 7 battles (10 if you count the 3 times that Ash lost), my favorite ones were at the Battle Factory, Dome, Palace and Ash’s first “official” match with Brandon when he used Torkoal.

The Charizard vs. Articuno match was epic, seeing the awesome fusion of Fire/Water was incredible, witnessing Teleport the way it should be used in battle along with Sceptile learning Solarbeam was a nice touch also seeing Spencer’s Claydol utilizing the powers of Earth/Air/Water when it used Rapid Spin that sucked in chunks of earth along with rain to create a powerful cyclone was a sight to see. Finally, Torkoal’s match was amazing because I could watch it over and over again because it was that good! Ash had a cool head, and was actually thinking on his feet. I just wish that Torkoal would have used Overheat to push back that Heat Wave/Sandstorm cyclone. Ash was SO close to winning that match, but I guess that it wasn’t meant to be. I guess that it was following the 4-move limit (Heat Wave/Flamethrower/Body Slam/Iron Defense).

Battle Dome was one of the most awesome battles.

And Battle Palace for SCEPTILE!!!!!!!

I liked the battle with Tucker, and the first battle with Anabel, always fun seeing Ash get destroyed, even more so by a girl that has a crush on him.

My favorite was the battle with Tucker. Swellow/Corphish vs. Arcanine/Swampert was epic.

And the Ash/Noland battle was amazing and is second on my list. All due to Articuno being in the battle.

none of them were that interesting, i'm not gonna lie.

the only one i *kind of* enjoyed was the battle against anabel.

Battle Dome was one of my favs, Swellow and Corphish just dominated!

Then Battle Pike was a favorite of mine. Lucy was one of my favorite Frontier Brains at the time so it was cool seeing Ash battle with her (not to mention, the battle had Donphan who's also one of my favorite pokemon hehe).

The Battle Palace was cool to see Sceptile shine and then I also liked all the Pyramid matches with the Regis. Sceptile rocked it out once again, so did Torkoal, and it was nice to see Ash complete the whole BF challenge at the end.

Battle Dome and Battle Palace for me. The former just was epic and the latter was interesting. The Battle Factory is probably close behind.

The Battle Factory because it's the first time I saw Ash take on a trainer owned legendary and win. I also like the Dome battle because of the combinations pulled off by Tucker and Ash.

Got to like the Battle Pyramid rematch. It was really cool to see the kanto starters together again

Battle dome since I really liked the match versing Tucker. Plus the arcanine and swampert were just awsome in it.=D

Quite a few of us like Tucker, it seems.

I did enjoy his match, but I liked Ash's battle with Spenser more.

Also the final match with Brandon. Bringing the old starters back and Pikachu beating Regice on its own made it show how much Ash had improved. (yet he still lost to Roark not 20 episodes later)

I actually enjoyed all but the one that won me over was the battle pyramid rematch because it showed so many flashbacks to when he was training the Kanto starters. And showed up the real bond between him and his pokemon.

That aside I liked the Anabel battle Tucker Battle and Noland Battle

i enjoyed the double battle against tucker most. though i though that swellow and corphish probably would have died twice in that battle and i really liked the battle tower against anabel rematch coz of espeon. closely behind is the battle palace with spenser and his eat fruit nature as well as giving sceptile a chance to shine

I liked the battle pyramid it was a great battle since Brandon was pretty tough

I disliked the Brandon battles. It was plain haxxorz.

It's a tie for me between Noland, Tucker and Anabel. I chose only Noland.

I liked the Battle Pike because Lucy actually liked Brock back, but Max was stupid and neither got a chance with the other. I like how Lucy has a bunch of pokemon with squinty eyes just like Crock at her house.
