My first Pokemon episode was Bulbasaur and the Hidden Village. I thought it was pretty cute and cool. After the KidsWB premiere event happened I got hooked!

It was a rerun of "The Ultimate Test" in late July 1999. And since it's kind of a meta-episode with a lot of references to pre-established aspects of the show, I was pretty darn lost. Luckily, the second episode I caught was a rerun of "Pokémon! I Choose You", and Kids' WB reran the whole first season in order after that, so I got caught up in a hurry.
 
I don't even remember the first episode i watch, but it was a 1999 episode.
 
The first episode, when it aired for the first time in Finland.

I think it was the one where Satoshi dressed like a Barrierd.

I don't know exactly; I was young. But I got into the show when I rediscovered it. It was the Yadoking filler in late Johto.
 
The first three Diamond and Pearl episodes on Cartoon Network.

One of my first thoughts was "How does Ash know that's Jenny when he just got to Sinnoh?"

Being a newbie is funny.
 
The first episode when it aired in UK. I remember Ho-oh and dexter saying that it was "unknown" and that some pokemon still had to be discovered. more than anything else that happened in the episode, I gotta watch it again.
 
It was "The Kangaskhan Kid." I hated it. I don't really remember why I hated it (or why I continued to watch the program if I hated the first episode so much), but I do remember really enjoying the "Kanga-Kanga-Kangaskhan!" noise Tommy kept making.
 
My first episode was "Ash Catches a Pokemon" because I happened to be up early before school one morning and all of the kids in my fifth grade class were into this "Pokemon" thing. So it's because of that episode that I became such a big Pokemon fan, as that was my first real exposure to the series. From the beginning, I loved the human characters. I loved Pikachu. I loved Ash's Caterpie (which is why I thought and still think Ash's Butterfree was like the best Pokemon ever, mind you). I was pretty much sold on the entire series with just that one episode.
 
I saw the first movie first, but for episodes it's the very first one.
 
The episode where Ash fights those bikers on the bridge (the ones with the Golem and Cloyster), though the name escapes me at the moment. I thought it was hilarious when I was little when Charmander put Golem on fire, and when the guy returned him, the pokeball almost caught on fire and burned his hand.
