Mine was Blue. If I remember correctly, my first ever starter was Bulbasaur.

My brother got Red the same time I got Blue. It's kind of a long story.

Yeah, me too... it seems like I almost always end up getting the second one.
Fire Red is pretty much the only exception, but I actually got it to replace my Leaf Green game, which had been stolen the day after I got it.
 
Blue or Red, can't remember, but I got both....Blue started off with Charmander and Red started off with Squirtle.
 
My first game was Red and I started with a Charmander. I remember because when I reached level 16 and it started to evolve, my older brother leaned over and was like: "I can make it evolve faster!" and he mashed the B button and made it stop evolving. I screamed and cried about it for hours. Ha ha. Those were the days... ♥
 
Red was my first, and here's what i like about it the unlimited item cheat all by defeating the Missingno glitch. (age 10)
 
Mine was Red. I can still remember it. Christmas of 1998. Grandma got it for me, and I was playing it non-stop all day on my big ol' yellow Game Boy. No color, no problem.

A month later or so, I got Blue since I realized that I needed the other one in order to finish the PokéDex. :p
 
Mine was Red. It was an early birthday gift from Prime back in June 2000; I was laid up because I had hurt my back at work and had nothing to do. (I couldn't even roll over in bed without groaning in pain.) Then Prime came home with a yellow Game Boy Color, a copy of Red and Blue and a guide. He took Blue and I started on Red. My starter was Bulbasaur and I named him Bruticus. Oh, the memories...
 
Mine was Red and I started with a Charmander. Pokémon hold special memories for me. Not only because it's a great game, but also it was the first video game that I bought myself.
 
Mine was Silver, and my first starter was a Chikorita. Got it on my birthday with that special Pikachu GBC.
 
I hate to admit this but My first Pokemon game I got was Firered last year, and so far I love the games and hope to get more in the future.
