Post the first team you ever used to beat the elite 4 in your first pokemon game. Even though it was over 10 year ago I still remember the first team i ever had on my pokemon blue game, it probably took me 15 times to beat the elite four with this team and immediately after i restarted my game xD.

Blastoise lvl 78
Hydro Pump
Dig
Icebeam
Skullbash

Moltres lvl 60
Leer
Agility
Firespin
Sky Attack

Ditto lvl 41 (caught it at the entrance of victory road)
Transform

Slowpoke lvl 30
Fireblast
Confusion
Strength
Blizzard

Fearow lvl 30
Fly
Cut
Mirror Move
Fury Attack

Nidoking lvl 26
Bubblebeam
Thrash
Thuderbolt
Surf

I hope you werent such a noob like i was the first time i played xD

Alright beat elite 4 in blue can't really remember who I had this is my shot at it. Charizard, Hitmonchan, Gravelar, hmmm sadly I think those are the only guys I can remember

Can't remember my team from Red, Blue or Yellow. Though in Yellow if I had to guess i'd say it was Blastoise, Charizard, Venasaur, Articuno, Pidgeot and Pikachu. I never remember the levels lol. For gold I can't remember the entire team, as back then I didn't train all of my pokemon equally and I still used HM Slaves. I KNOW that I had Typlosion (Level 81 I think), Ho-Oh, and Togetic.

Red Version:
Venusaur, Lv. 75
Nidoking, Lv. 67
Magmar, Lv. 76
Magneton, Lv. 54
Raichu, Lv. 47
Gyarados, Lv. 70

Blue Version:
Charizard, Lv. 68
Persian, Lv. 70
Beedrill, Lv. 75
Weezing, Lv. 54
Pinsir, Lv. 53
Ninetails, Lv. 55

I would list my team from my Yellow Version, but I lost it.

I can't really remember. That was 1997 lol..
But I think it goes something like this.

Blue version:
Blastoise
Nidoqueen
Butterfree
Articuno
Zapdos
Golbat

I'm not really sure with the Golbat. All I remember was the 2 legendary birds. I killed Moltres in the victory road on my first time.

I remember in HG I used legendaries regularly. :/

My team was,
Typhlosion
Ho-oh
Raikou
Crobat
Togekiss
Gyarados.

In yellow, a common team I would go up against the elite 4 would be the 3 'starters', pikachu, haunter, and possibly pidgeot/ferrow.

I first beat the Elite Four in Red version and I seemed to use my Blastoise most of the time which I wouldn't do now because in Generation IV I learnt the type chart. I think I used my Blastoise a lot because of its level as I will write in this post with the rest of my party and their moves:

Dragonite Lv.56
Hyper Beam
Dragon Rage
Thunder Wave
Surf

Alakazam Lv.42
Teleport
Skull Bash
Metronome
Flash

Golduck Lv.39
Confusion
Surf
Strength
Pay Day

Tangela Lv.43
Cut
Sleep Powder
Absorb
Poisonpowder

Hitmonchan Lv.36
Comet Punch
Agility
Fire Punch

Blastoise Lv.69
Bite
Earthquake
Bubble
Surf

My first game was Blue, and I don't remember any of my teams from that time :( I think I first picked a Charmander, but then restarted the game somewhere around the 3rd badge when I learned how to capture other Pokemon in order to play the game "the right way". The second time I started with a Squirtle... and that's all I remember, really. I never found myself too attached to the little pixels, even as a kid.

If I recall correctly in Crystal,my first game,it was: Typhlosion,Gyarados,Eevee...i think a Lickitung...can't remember the other. The whole team revolved around the overleveled Typhlosion (it OHKO'ed Lance's Charizard with Flamethrower.)

I think it was: (it was a long time ago, so it may not be correct)

Venasaur: Bulby
Raichu: Sparky
Clefable: ?
Parasect: ?
Pigeot: Sandy
Lapras: ?

Pokemon Blue;

Blastoise
Pidgeot
Gyarados
Haunter
Dugtrio
Zapdos

The first droplet in the fountain of success

Venusaur
Raichu
Persian
Haunter
Moltres
Articuno

I don't recall any of the levels or moves. Despite arming myself with two legendary birds, I ultimately wound up owing my success to Haunter. The ghost pokemon and my rival's Charizard were the only two remaining, and my rival clearly wasn't too smart, since he had Charizard use the completely ineffective Rage (remember the days when once you started using Rage you were essentially stuck with it?). From that point on, victory was pretty much handed to me on a plate.

It was Yellow for me, and I can't exactly remember a ton besides 5 of the 6 mons, though I do remember one mons moveset because it was my favorite mon to use, like ever.

Charizard/Venusaur/Blastoise/Articuno/Nidoking

Nidoking's moveset (can't remember the level at the time, but I did end up getting it to level 100 at some point) was:
Thunder
Mega Kick
Surf
Horn Drill

Good times, good times

I think this was it...

-Pidgeot
-Charizard
-Jolteon
-Gyarados
-Wigglytuff
-Lapras

I was a weird kid.

This was back in Red, so I can barely recall it...

Lv. 75 Typhlosion
Lv. 50 Ho-oh
lots of HM slaves

I was a kid and only trained Typhlosion. Ho-oh was barely trained. xD

Oh gosh...do I remember?

I know the first game I actually played all the way through the Elite Four was Sapphire.
I don't know levels, but I can remember most of the pokemon.

I had Kip (Swampert.)
Sableye
Hariyama
Kyogre
Swellow

...I can't remember the sixth one. I want to say it was a Mightyena, but I think I didn't start using that until Emerald. It might have been a linoone, but I don't know for sure.

I cant' remember the levels, but Torterra and Luxray, and the rest of my team were just random lv.10ish Pokemon that I randomly caught.

It was in Red version...

Lv 81 Blastoise
Lv 50 Zapdos
Lv 50 Moltres
Lv 50 Articuno
and two slaves for buying time so I can use potions.

On Ruby, with a high level Sceptile, between its late 50s and early 60s. Also Groundon and a few very underleved Pokémon. I didn't have the habit of training multiple Pokémon back then, but I still beat the E4. :-D
