Since we now know the B/W/B2/W2 Global Link will be completely shut down January 14, 2014 and be replaced by the X/Y Global Link, a little over three months after X/Y are released internationally.

Besides this, we know nothing else about the X/Y Global Link or how it'll be different from the current Global Link, leaving much room for speculation. What will this new Global Link be like?

For me, I hope they keep the Pokémon with Hidden Abilities in it but I would also like to see Berries handled and grown both in Global Link and in the actual games.

For next gen, I'm hoping at least one of these restrictions gets relaxed:

-No control over which area in the Island of Dreams you can visit aside from merely being able to affect the odds of which one you go to.
-Island of Dreams dries up after about 8-10 visits.
-Only one Pokemon from the Island of Dreams can be taken back per session
-Island of Dreams areas are overstuffed with Pokemon to the point where finding the exact Pokemon you want is nearly impossible.

It's made finding DWfs an absolute chore, and there's no reason to make them that rare.

I'd love to see the time limit go, or being ale to take back more than one Pokemon, but probably won't happen.
