I think it's pretty likely that any remakes of Red/Blue would have new name.

I'm bet they'll be called Pokemon Red 2 and Blue 2.

What do you guys think?

Nah, it's obvious that they are going to be called Flare red and Foliage green.

I think they'll be called BurningFireRed and RazorLeafGreen.

RB2 would actually be a really great idea (although now might not be the best time, maybe 7th or 8th gen). Take Kanto, expand it to the size of Hoenn/Sinnoh, spread out the gyms, add in some 2nd, 3rd, 4th, 5th, and 6th gen Pokemon to the Kanto Dex, and use a new storyline. That would make an awesome game.

Duh, clearly they'll be called FantasticFireRed and LudicrousLeafGreen!

I heard FireRed and WaterBlue. My friend tried to tell me that they aren't doing Blue, just something called LeafGreen. I removed him from my Top 8 on MySpace!

Come on, red's just okay, the protagonist's called Red after all. The best I can see is blue becoming Green, like it was in Japan.

Something aroud FireRed and GrassGreen. Or something similar...

Pokemon Ash and Pokemon Gary would be a guess, but then again, you don't control Gary, so probably Pokemon Ash Red and Pokemon Ash Blue.

Thanks for readign.

I feel like they'll probably change the Green remake into a Blue remake outside of Japan. And they'll give them kickass names like Charizard Red and Blastoise Blue.

I think it's more likely that they'll make remakes of Red and Green. That pair was the original first gen, after all, the actual first Pokémon games ever.

With that said, I think they'll be called GarnetRed and PeridotGreen. Obviously, they'll continue Gen III's current gem theme for the names.

I think EmberRed and IngrainGreen are gonna be the names, but they switch the naming theme around every gen, so...
