I don't understand why would Bianca appear in here new style in the anime if she never grows up !????????? why the anime is ruining every good thing in the games ??WHY ??

Design change? Characters get new clothes all the time.

But this "Bianca" deal, I'm starting to believe it's not from the anime. With that shot of Black and Arcanine, along with the Plasma shot that looks nothing like the anime style, I think it may be something new entirely.

They could easily give Bianca the new design without aging her (then again, they could've done the same for Cheren in the first place and had him in the show instead of Trip...), but major characters in the anime tend not to have permanent changes in their wardrobe until a new series starts up. The only notable exception is Dawn (since Ash and Brock literally got the Platinum jackets and nothing else), but that only lasted for the Snowpoint arc of DP and that only happened because the writers were sticking them in a climate for a bundle of episodes where keeping them in their very summery default clothes would have looked odd. And she's not retaining them for whenever she reappears in BW2, either.

Ash isn't getting a wardrobe change to match the BW2 male protag's outfit, Iris and Cilan are also remaining the same (and if they're still in BW2 they must have a different appearance in the games, especially Iris), so I don't see much reason for Bianca to be changing her outfit to the BW2 look, either.

One thing I would apply BW2 in regards to Bianca, though, is what her ultimate fate will be by the time our Gen V-related anime ends. If Bianca grows up to be Juniper's assistant in the games, I think it's very possible that Bianca will eventually set out to become just that in the anime as well. Had she not performed so well in Donamite, I would be saying that her becoming Juniper's assistant is definitely what they would be setting out to do with her, since otherwise she's hardly been one to be taken seriously as a battler despite being a rival of Ash's.

So it depends whether they'll continue to show her becoming more competent as a trainer as the anime progresses, or if they'll act as if Donamite never happened and she'll lose every on-screen battle she has for the rest of the series. Either way I could see her deciding to be Juniper's assistant, but hopefully if that does happen to her by the end, they'll be throwing in some hints and foreshadowing so it won't come out of left field.

I'm still holding out hope that she wins the whole Unova League, though.

I can see her getting a new look without aging. Plus, I wouldn't be surprised if she gave up being a trainer for being a scientist (like Barry before her, the Producers get off watching her fail)

I really can't see why would anyone believe these pictures had anything to do with Best Wishes
It's either a game trailer in anime style or a short "episode" like Ranger 3 got

Yeah, I don't think they're from the anime either. Looking at the other thumbnail screenshots from the (unreleased) youtube video, it doesn't really look like the anime's style all too much, but who knows? I'll keep my hopes up :p

Whether or not Bianca ages or gets a new character design, I hope she plays a role in BW2. I can honestly see her getting some real development this saga, considering her lack of it in BW. Plus, if Cheren in there, I'd love to see her interact with him, since I think she's the only person that makes Cheren even remotely interesting XD

Its was not only a new clothes, she has a new her style, and the new shot the w cheren, the new player and rival gave us explanation for all these changes, its probebly a new 1 hour special just like the legend of thunder one.

Re: What will the second season have in store for Bianca?

I think in this season we'll see Bel slowly transition into the assistant role she has in the games.

Re: What will the second season have in store for Bianca?

So, she'll basically regress into the female form of Tracey? .~. I mean, that sounds the most realistic considering she's run errands for Juniper before, but I hope that her journey is a bit more nobler than that; gain a few more victories on the way.

Yeah, I hope so too which is why I think it will be slow (she'll still be a trainer, but over the course of the season find herself helping Juniper out more and gaining an interest in that sort of work).

Like Shigeru's conclusion, but with actual foreshadowing.

What will the second season have in store for Bianca?

A new set of clothes and stolen glasses. 8D

I hope Bianca mellows down. Last time I checked she was a fem!Barry compared to her game version.

Re: What will the second season have in store for Bianca?

Bianca will probably have the same role as she had in the first "season" of the BW anime. It might be possible that the anime writers may decide to transition Bianca's anime role to be more consistent with her game storyline. Considering that the original BW series lacked in character development, I find this to be unlikely, however. I am expecting Bianca to become a stronger battler and to obtain stronger pokemon, nonetheless.

The mention of Barry in one of the other threads makes me wonder if Bianca will meet Dawn - or whether that's just too many interactions to try and fit into whatever time Dawn's here for. I think there's a lot of similarities between the two, especially Bianca slowly getting stronger after facing defeat - Bianca's certainly very 'No need to worry!' about things, so a battle between the two would work out fairly interesting I'd think. Perhaps Dawn's focus on non-Gym ways of being with Pokemon might be a way to kickstart a transition closer to Bianca's game role of ending up the professor's assistant, though hopefully not until after she does well in the league.

Not sure what I'd rather see, Dawn's reaction to Bianca pushing Ash into a lake, or Dawn's response to being pushed into a lake herself (which would allow them to show Ash learning to get out of the way). Again, perhaps a 'you might need glasses' comment to do the BW2 appearance shift.

I do fear though that with all of the things with Trip and the new rival that Bianca might be pushed to the side for a while, or just not get enough screentime to get some more development in the near future.
