Pokemon is already awesome as it is but what would really make the show awesome? Give some ideas, here's mine:

-Ash's Butterfree returns and knows Silver Wind and Psychic making it Uber when combined with it's powders.

-Ash's Bulbasaur also returns for a permanent season and kicks Corphish off the team as the "Face it, I 'aint gonna evolve" Pokemon

-Brock gets back his Onix, Crobat and Ludicolo and evolves Onix into a Steelix.

-James gets back his Chimecho and Growlithe from the mansion while keeping Manene with him and Jessie's Lickitung returns.

-May's Squirtle is eaten very slowly and painfully by Harley's Ariados, and May gets back her Skitty, Bulbasaur and Beautifly, then evolves Eevee into an Umbreon.

Basically, I this would be the perfect season team for the main characters:

Ash:
Pikachu, Bulbasaur, Swellow, Donphan, Butterfree, and Sceptile

Brock:
Bonsly, Steelix, Crobat, Ludicolo, Forretress, and Marshtomp

May:
Munchlax, Bulbasaur, Combusken, Umbreon, Skitty, Beautifly

Jessie:
Meowth (Team), Wobbuffet, Seviper, Dustox, Lickitung

James:
Meowth (Team), Cacnea, Manene, Chimecho, Growlithe

I like what you say about Brock, definitely, though I'm not sure I agree that Onix should evolve, simply because Onix is Brock's signature Pokemon. I'm sure it'd be stronger as a Steelix, but I'm not sure the evolution would fit Brock as a Rock trainer. I suppose he's diversified, so the argument probably doesn't hold up. Just...eh. Just seems more fitting for him to keep Onix, unless Onix wants to evolve.

To get Lickitung back, Jessie would need to find that trainer she accidently traded with to get Wobbuffet. Chances are, he's still somewhere in Johto. Even if she did find him, Ash and friends would not allow them to steal it.

Anyway, it is obvious what the answer to this question is. To make the battle mechanics more resemble the games. In other words, immune to Electric means immune to Electric, and so on, no exceptions. Also, a more involved storyline that really gets your attention. No more pointless fillers, random dorkiness, or anything else of that variety. [/sarcasm]

That is what I've heard many watchers of the anime complain about. I'm not that concerned about it myself, except that the anime is heavily repetitive and doesn't make sense in a lot of instances. Also, enough is enough already. Ash needs to win a tournament, or get so close that you can taste it. For now, we will have to be satisfied whenever he wins at the Battle Pyramid, and then watch as May completes her contests and tries to win the next Grand Festival. I don't really care if she wins that or not.

An actual plot other than the one they've been recycling and regurgitating at us for the past near-ten years?

Wobbafet getting his own movie. Misty returns and May dies a horrible death. A plot other then Team Rocket trying to get Pikachu might be helpful.

PLEASE, Sunain. We don't want another so-called 'Scott vs. everyone else thread'. :disgust:

As for me:

Make May's Squirtle less 'uber', but nothing drastic like OMG KILLZ HIMZ. (More :disgust:)

Brendan and Leaf apperances. (Movie 6? Bull.)

May and Misty at the same time for a whole season. :O

Edit: Another episode where the Pokémon speak in subtitles. (ala Island of the Giant Pokémon)

May and Misty becoming best friends. Nothing to do with the ships, I just really think it could happen and would be nice to see.

I'll also add my support to an actual plot. There's nothing wrong with good fillers but an overiding plot like Team Aqua/Team Magma in Hoenn, only expanded and with a better conclusion, would be very beneficial.

Oh, and more specials. Especially if more characters are left at home at the end of this saga.

Aren't they already good friends? They don't really get much time to talk, but they've gotten along fine each time they met.

Let's see...

I think, actually, I want to see another outfit change. But this time, Brock's outfit should be a throwback to how it was back in RBY.

In other words, Brock walking around without his shirt.

All the time.

=D

On a more serious note, I would love to see Brock get at least one or two of his old Pokémon back from the gym. He's got so many awesome Pokémon that he's leant to his family. Also, I really want the ending music to change. I am so sick of Glory Day. It is driving me to madness.

Glory Day is an awesome song (especially with the Power Mix intro) but the poor bastard just doesn't know when its overstayed its welcome.

For me, the show will be better when Brock finally get off it. Yes, I really hate that "I-must-have-all-girls-in-the-world" jerk. And, if it was Tracey which replaced him, then I will be verry happy. But I know that chance to something like that is verry low:mad: .
Other then that, I've really like to seen strong Dark-type Pokémon in Ash's team. When Corphish will evolved...;-)
Othervise, I agree with Pie, that Glory Day sucks.

Whoa-hoa-hoa-hoa, not to get offtopic here, but you've got his character all wrong. He doesn't want "all-girls-in-the-world", he just wants a girl. The reason he goes after all girls is because he likes each and every one, and each and every one gets scared off by his eager approach. And what's he done to earn the title of 'jerk'? He's a kind and sweet sort of guy who goes out of his way to take care of others.

I'd rather see more Brock, not less. Poor guy gets shoved into the background far too often, and the true Brock-centric episodes are a rare treat.

Well, I must admit that he has some good characteristics, but for me, those are beaten with my hate to woman-chasers. I really hate that sort of people. thats all.

I bet you five dollars he wouldn't anywhere near as many skirts if he ever actually hooked up with a girl, though. He wasn't always this bad, remember - but as failure after failure made him more and more desperate for success...

I didn't say that he's bad. Actually, it's pretty funny to see him embrassing himself in front of girls. But still, you didn't change my opinion to him, so stop trying, 'till we changed this topic to something different;-)

Here are my ideas to make the anime perfect.

-Get rid of Ash. Sorry, but after realizing the majority of his cheap wins and such, he has to go. On top of that, I'm getting the vibe that Max and Brock are just taking up space. Heck, put in a brand new cast, because I've finally seen how old they've gotten.
-Like everyone mentioned, an actual plot. Again, I've realized the systematicness (I know it's not a word, but I can't find anything about it).
-Make the battles interesting... and no defiance of logic (*coughs*Mossdeep Gym Battle*cough*) either.
-Decent villians. I'm not expecting assasins and stuff, but at least make them something that'll have me saying "Wow. Those guys are pretty dang cool".
-If the first four can't happen, make the series somewhere on Pokemon Adventures/the Pokespecial's level.
