What would your pokemon gym be like. Stuff like the type, place, description, and team.

Heres mine

My gym would be up high on top of a mountain and would be dragon themed. There would be wild dragon pokemon flying around the gym and many very strong dragon trainers. I would use a Dragonite (awwww yea), Garchop, Salemance, Flygon, Kingdra, and Haxourous.

Steel-type in an abandoned warehouse. It would be a "production factory" for Klink, Magnemite, Bronzor, and Honedge. Infested with a pack of Durants. AND MECHA-GODZILLATYRANITAR IN THE CORNER

As for my team, Aggron, Scizor, Mawile, Skarmory, Bisharp, and Excadrill.

Well, I suppose the overall theme would be an Eastern European Gothic theme, possibly in a building resembling a church. But not actually a church, because I don't want to invoke the wrath of Arceus.

Anyway, on to the specifics. One of my main pokemon is a Cofagrigus, and he eats human corpses (I don't know if they actually do, but I just like to imagine him going CHOMPCHOMPCHOMP with the coffin lid), but I doubt he can digest the really thick bones like a femur or skull. So I would most likely have a chandelier made of human bone material, and maybe some torches embedded in the walls with little pools of burning wax sitting in the joint indents of the bones.

Also, I have a Spiritomb. He constantly searches for new, more powerful spirits to imprison to replace some of the weaker of the 108 human spirits he traps inside him. But it would be a waste to just let those spirits move on to some probably hellish afterlife, so Spiritomb dumps all of his older and weaker spirits into big glass aquarium-like structures that I have sitting on pedestals in every corner. I mean really, would you rather have some unknown scary afterlife or be able to watch a mid-level gym leader have mildly interesting battles? Well, it doesn't matter what these former people think, I'm trapping their spirits in the fish tanks anyway and using their bones to make furniture, but it's a nice dilemma for the living to think about!

Thirdly, what my Lampent does for training is to visit nursing homes and sap the life forces out of dying people. So I imagine that I, in my European Gothic themed gym, would act as a true Count would and have some servants to bring me food or wine or whatever I desire. Except that they are zombie servants that have like 95% of the life sucked out of them by Lampent. Can't let him overeat, you know. Did I mention the gym is next door to a nursing home? It's a nice source of dying people and corpses.

My Dusknoir doesn't really contribute to the upkeep of the gym, but he oversees the battles between visitors and my gym trainers and threatens (he seems like a pokemon that could speak) to burn them with Will-o-wisp if they damage any of my expensive rugs or bookcases or human bone furniture during their pokemon battles.
EDIT: Upon reviewing a picture of Dusknoir, I decided that he speaks through the mouth on his stomach

My Phantump doesn't have a special role at all, but he doesn't need to: he's in retirement! It turns out that some people become Phantumps when they die, so my Phantump is the previous gym leader who died (fine, maybe I killed him), and I plan to do the same someday. He still has to battle on occasion, of course, but that's not an extremely strenuous job because usually Cofagrigus and Dusknoir take care of challengers.

TL;DR Bone furniture, ghost prisons, zombie slaves

Mine would be a poison gym.

It will be based on an abandoned factory and the grounds around it.
The main feature will be the old factory around it there will be a small wooded area and a lake that used to feed water into the factory.

Trainers who enter will get to choose of one of three themed areas.

One would be a lake with a small island in the middle which holds a shine
Water/Poison, Ghost/Poison Pokémon.

One part would be a chemical factory.
Hear they would come up against the pure poison types
Grimer/Muk, Koffing/Weezing, Gulpin/Swalot and Trubbish/Garbodor

this would be Rocky/grass/light woods themed area.
Hear they would come up against the rest of the poison types.

There wouldn't be a set roster of Pokemon I would use, but high evolution stages would be used against those with more badges.

The rest of the grounds would be rebuilt into the gym office, shelter for the Pokemon and jsut more area for Pokemon to live in.

Mine would be like a spa. Giant crystal pool with flowers, scented candles, zen garden, white curtains and a view of the seaside or other landscape, the works. Trainers would have to get past the masseuses and all then finally reach me, chilling with a drink in my lounger.
I'm debating between water or grass pokemon, but I think I'll go with water.

Vaporeon, Milotic, Starmie, Kingdra, Cloyster, and Jellicent are my faves so I'd probably use them.

Ghost-type user. A crazy-making spooky labirynth with buttons hidden behind cuttable trees that activate doors. Unown that pop out and spell the theme of the gym: G H O S T !

Team: Duskull, Misdreavus, Shedinja, Sableye, Banette, Spiritomb
Alt team: Golett, Lampent, Cofagrigus, Frillish (f), Rotom, Haunter

Some interesting, and just creepy in Karpi's case, gyms here lol.
Mine would be a single room library, with plenty of bookshelves. In the center there's a terrarium filled with plants. If you walk up to the terrarium, a pad shrinks you to the size of an insect, and teleports you inside. This is the "real" gym where all the trainers are. In addition to trainers, the entire gym has tall grass, filled with wild bug types. You can't catch any though, just be annoyed by them popping out and using sleep powder and such. I'm sitting in a mangrove in the middle of a pond.

Pokemon team;
Mothim, Vivillon (Jungle), Durant, and Yanmega (signature pokemon)

My badge is "The Exoskeleton Badge" and I give out TM 20,000 (Tail Glow)

Karpi your gym is insanely weird and scary. Mine would be in the shape of a giant honeycomb. You have to climb your way from the bottom to the top, much like Grant's and Ramos' gyms.

Pokemon: Galvantula, Vespiquen, Scizor

Don't ask me why, I kinda have a fettish to Water types since generation 4.
I used to like Dragon Types, but this later changed into being a fan of Water types instead.
My most favorite Pokémon since Generation 1 was a Vaporeon, right at the moment you've got a free Eevee, I've immediately evolved it into Vaporeon.
I just love Vaporeon's design where it shows to be just a pure Water type'd Pokémon, personally I find it just a beautiful 1st Gen design back in the days and the thoughts still haven't changed a bit.

My team however would be the following:

1. Blastoise (As Lead)
2. Starmie (Thunder type'd moves <333)
3. Lanturn
4. Vaporeon (As last stand)

== Off-topic ==

Likewise, despite my current Team in Pokémon Y being one of the reasons of having so much love for Water types.

1. (shiny) Vaporeon (Traded with one of these forum users)
2. (shiny) Starmie (Traded with one of these forum users)
3. (shiny) Lanturn (Caught by myself during Consecutive Fishing in Shalour City as a Chinchou at level 25)
4. (shiny) Suicune (Traded with one of these forum users)

Trader's names were not mentioned for privacy reasons.

Although, my team isn't complete just yet. I am not 100% sure which pokémon I'd assign to the 5th and 6th spot.
Perhaps I may reserve them to a Rain Dish Blastoise and Protean Greninja... hm...
I'll have to find a Wartortle and a Frogadier Friend Safari for this to happen, since I have pretty much a weakness to Shiny hunting. :D
I keep hunting for specific pokémon until I've finally found a Shiny version of it. (This also happened to a Female Espurr that took me at least 3 weeks of non-stop Safari hunting for like 5~8 hours a day, and is reserved to a friend)
There are even 2 shiny pokes I have reserve to a friend, but didn't had the chance to trade them just yet due to being way too busy with real-life stuff. The thing is that I really like to help others whenever it comes to Shiny hunting via Consecutive Fishing and the Friend Safari. :)
The main reasons of helping her^ is that I have respect for her is Dragon Types being her favorite type choice. I respect it due to the fact Dragons were my favorite as well, but was later deflecting to a Water type fettish instead.

I'd just have mine be bring and straight forward like most first gyms. That or be the most over the top ever.

As for team, since they're not allowed 6 Pokemon;

Roserade, Sceptile, Ludicolo, Tropious, Cacturne

Just to cover a few types. Roserade would be my main guy.

I think I would use Fairy-type Pokémon since it's tied as my favorite type. My other favorite type is the Ice type, but I hate the cold haha, and most Ice-type gyms have a chilly feel to them. Dragon- and Water-type gyms would also be cool, but they've already been used quite a few times, so I feel like I wouldn't really stand out as a notable Trainer of one of those types. I would also consider the Psychic type, but I just like the idea of a notable male Trainer using that type, considering that the Laverre Gym was filled with female trainers. And the Fairy Tale Girl trainer class depicts, well, a girl. XD

I would definitely have a Sylveon and a Togekiss, and I would most likely have a Gardevoir and an Azumarill. If I can Mega-Evolve, I would use a Mawile. Other possible Pokémon would include Clefable, Whimsicott, and Klefki. (And of course I would use appropriate weaker/pre-evolution Pokémon if I am one of the earlier gyms.)

My gym would be modeled after a fairy tale, myth, or folklore. Like, if I modeled it after Pied Piper, I would be the Piper himself, my Gym Trainers would be the "children" lured away by the music, and the challenger would be someone trying to save the children. Or maybe model it after The Odyssey, and each battle that the challenger has with a Gym Trainer would represent a significant part of the story. Actually wouldn't it be cool if every time the player character battled me, the battle would tell a different story? Like, maybe I would first challenge the player character outside of the gym à la Giovanni or Korrina, and that battle would depict one story; then I would challenge them as a Gym Leader, and that would be another story. And every time they challenge me after that I would go through a small cycle of stories.

Actually, speaking of Giovanni--what if the player character found out that I was actually an Admin for/the Leader of the region's bad team? And then we could play out a major good vs. evil story in the big battle, like the Christian Apocalypse or something. I would probably use a slightly modified "evil" team, but I could still use "evil" Fairy-type Pokémon like Mawile, Granbull, or Whimisicott. Regardless I would always have a Sylveon on my team though, because that would be my main Pokémon.

While I wouldn't prefer Ice as a type, I'd love to do it just for having a sliding-ice-blocks puzzle. Not the kind of ice that you slip on, but you have 5-6 ice blocks on the floor and they're what you have to slide around to land on a switch. If you mess up, you just hit a nearby reset switch and try again.

I have grown an intense fondness for the Fairy type, so definitely Fairy themed... Perhaps more nature-y then the Laverre dollhouse.

Maybe flowers. Huge flowers. You have to climb across the leaves to reach other flowers, and the flowers are closed and hold me and the gym trainers (Fairy Tale Girls and Hex Maniacs) and they bloom open when you pass them.

My team would be Mawile, Gardevoir, Dedenne, Togekiss, Azumarill, and Whimsicott

Dark typed, no contest. Or maaaaaaaaybe steel. Probably a huge dark hall with a hogwarts sky always depicting nighttime, and maybe torches with blue or silver fire. I myself would wear dark knight armor. The team would be Houndoom, Bisharp, Aegislash, and Weavile. Yeah, I know Aegis isn't dark but he can learn dark type moves, so by the rules of Sinnoh it counts.

I love Fairies (it's my favorite type!) but I have an idea for a Fire-type gym. Oh and the leader's name is Bean. :3

Basically, the gym would be like a restaurant (Kinda like the Striaton Gym in the anime). You would get a meal and a battle. Each battle would be the meal, increasing in difficulty based on the meal (appetizer would be easy, entree would be difficult and the dessert would be harder than the appetizer battle but easier than the entree. With the check the gym leader would come up (who I made an entire OC for.) He would hand you the check and then ask for a battle. I thought of an entire team for this so I'll list it here:

Ninetales (F) Lv. 45 ( I imagine this gym leader would be the sixth or seventh gym leader)
Item: Heat Rock
Ability: Drought
Moveset:
-Solar Beam
-Flamethrower
-Will-O-Wisp
-Hex (I'm pretty sure Ninetales can learn this)

Lampent (M) Lv. 47
Item: Flame Plate
Ability: Flame Body
Moveset:
-Flamethrower
-Shadow Ball
-Solar Beam
-Psychic

Rotom-Heat (-) Lv. 50
Item: Choice Specs
Ability: Levitate
Moveset:
-Overheat
-Thunderbolt
-Volt Switch
-Dark Pulse

My Gym would be along the lines of Blue's Gym from Gen. II/HGSS: the final Gym of the region, which doesn't specialize in any one type.
The building would be a castle, with 7 rooms (one for each type used by the other seven Gym Leaders) that you have to go through in order to get to me. Each room would be a maze based around a single type, and would require specific Field Moves to get through them. Once you get through the maze, you have to fight a single trainer who's guarding the entrance to the next room.

My team would be:
Flygon (M)
Ability: Levitate (That's all it CAN have)
Item: Metal Coat
Moves: Dragon Pulse, Earth Power, Aerial Ace, Steel Wing

Aggron (M)
Ability: Rock Head
Item: Smooth Rock
Moves: Iron Head, Head Smash, Double-Edge, Sandstorm

Gallade
Ability: Steadfast
Item: Muscle Band
Moves: Zen Headbutt, Leaf Blade, Night Slash, Poison Jab

Gyarados (M)
Ability: Intimidate
Item: Wise Glasses
Moves: Aqua Tail, Thunder, Blizzard, Fire Blast

Absol (M)
Ability: Super Luck
Item: Razor Claw
Moves: Night Slash, Psycho Cut, Slash, Stone Edge

Volcarona (F)
Ability: Flame Body
Item: TwistedSpoon
Moves: Heat Wave, Bug Buzz, Psychic, Calm Mind

Poison-type specialist Gym-Leader who is also an avid fan collector of religious paintings and sculptures and artworks
that depicts suffering and death.
The gym is a shrine or temple adorned with several religious images, artworks, statues and beautiful stained glasses.
My signature Pokemon is a Mega Gengar that mainly uses Poison-type moves. The rest of the team is Dragalge,
Weezing, Toxicroak and Crobat.

My gym would be located in an arid wasteland, possibly near quarry mines or industrial areas, with some places having unusual coloured rocks. The gym itself is a tower, and used to be one of the furnaces used for refinery and manufacturing in the city. It's probably a mid-game to late-game gym. The gym will not specialise in 1 type totally, in the spirit of DP's Candice and Volkner.

This would be my team if I were a gymleader: Drapion, Scrafty, Krookodile, Whiscash, Dustox.
