What'll they do with season 11's opening?

No, seriously. Japan hasn't changed theirs yet, although they're only 15 episodes ahead of us right now, and the first D&P opening pretty much used all of Together.

Certainly there's evidence that soon Japan's getting a new opening theme, since they haven't changed it since DP056, despite several party changes, but how soon? And what if they don't make a new one in time? Are we gonna get another opening like BF, with mostly in-show clips? Will we just, for the first time, keep an opening theme for more than one season?

And I can't help but comment, but PLEASE BETTER MUSIC. If there's one thing 4Kids did very right it was the opening themes.
 
Keeping OP from DP won't be a good idea. But looking from the Movie 10's intro, they'll probably use a slightly different version of that theme, which is screaming "we are running out of ideas, let's remix BF OP with a bit DP feel"...

AS for clips, it'd be great if they pulled JLC out here - like, get US-exclusive clips.
 
I agree, "We Will be Heroes" sounds plausible... which woould mark the first time an OP has been used in a movie before being used on as a Season OP.
 
Thing is, we don't know when Season 11 will actually start. The raw could have a new opening by then, and as Scott pointed out there are the ending clips too.
 
I can see We Will Be Heroes being used. It kind of has a Together vibe to it (IMO), and all of the "Darkrai" shouts can easily be edited out of it.
 
I think there'll be a party change soon. Someone will evolve, I doubt if there'll be a new capture but that's what they're waiting before the change.

It uses a lot of footage from the opening, but there's still quite a bit left over.

They could also use the unused Rocket-Dan footage from Spurt!.

4Kids kept the Season 1 opening for the first half or so of Season 2.

They also kept the Season 5 theme for the first twelve episodes (or so) of Season 6.
 
But we're talking about keeping the same opening for another entire 52 episode season.

God, I hope not. The rap song needs to go, and I pray to the gods of the universe that Season 11 has a better theme song. Surely, PUSA has heard the fandom backlash?

...and they kept the Season 2 theme for...the first little bit of Season 3.
