Whats all with the attitude to the future of Pokemon?

I have been noticing latley that a lot of things have been going around about Gen V and what should or should not be in it, if Ash and co will be in it. This that and other.

I don't know about you, but to be honest, I just would like things to calm down a little. We have not even finished Sinnoh here before we speculate what will happen in next Gen. And you know? Talk about Gen V has been going on for ages without any of this.

I like the show and I know when its time for Gen V, they will show us and maybe we'll get a surprise. Eitherway the writers arn't going to do anything stupid with the show and I say one thing. Maybe when we get to the end of the Sinnoh arc, we can start thinking about Gen 5 and the future. I'm just trying to enjoy the show at the moment, and the games, platinum I can't wait for.

So I say, if you don't like pokemon anymore, don't watch it or play games, if you would like changes in future ou can say, but we don't have to turn it into an argument.

If anyone else feels like this well, you can say.
 
I agree with you Shinx3000. Arguing over what's going to happen is pointless. It's like shaking your fist and telling the sun not to set. We have no control over what happens.
 
Generation V hasn't been confirmed yet, so why speculate what will be in something that has no evidence of existing.
 
Yeah we should just stay with the present at least until Ash and co. get to Sunyshore
 
If it's not gen V, it's the people that think the series is ending, which is also possible, but we have no evidence of. They just automatically assume anything. I will include remakes in this since no one ever shuts up about that, either. I am not convinced. Not until it is outright said. We know nothing.
 
Shinx is right. All of this Gen V stuff needs to simmer down because it isn't comfirmed if there is one anyway.
 
Im pretty sure that this doesnt really count as "evidence" but with the tough economy the company is probably going to make something that they know works and they know will sell so for the next few years we'll probably be seeing mario,pokemon,final fantasy, and zelda... so when people say that it makes money so it will probably continue to be made they kinda have a point especially at this tough time...
 
You know, seriously people, these boards do exist FOR speculation and discussion based off speculation.

I'd say, given that interview WPM did last year, there's more evidence that there WILL be a 5th gen than anything else.
 
Why not speculate? As long as it's not hurting anyone, we may as well let people have their fun. And I see no reason that there wouldn't be a gen V, even if it isn't confirmed.

Yeah, I am all for speculation, but not when a few people start fighting over things because of it. And yeah, there will probably be a Gen V after all I have been reading and hearing latley. There is little chance their won't be, after all:

Its doing well, so let the future of pokemon continue!
 
I'd be kinda angry if there wasn't a Generation V.

I love Pokemon. A TON!

But I'm in no big hurry for next Gen because I still need to play the current one.:blush:

I never got around to it, so I'm buying Platinum.
