More Friends, Foes, and Fun in Legends: Z-A
Main article: Pokémon Legends: Z-A
With the Pokémon Presents behind us, we've got plenty of news to share, so let's cut to the chase and talk about Legends: Z-A!
The latest trailer revealed a lot, but those with a Keen Eye may have spotted the return of alpha Pokémon from Legends: Arceus, as confirmed by the official Legends: Z-A game site. It seems these large and aggressive Pokémon, marked by their glowing red eyes, are sure to keep us on our toes once again!
As for the story, your friend Urbain or Taunie will invite you to join Team MZ together with fashion designer Naveen and aspiring dancer Lida to serve and protect Lumiose City. Along the way, you'll tangle with Corbeau and the Rust Syndicate as you climb the ranks of the Z-A Royale. You'll also cross paths with a familiar face in Emma, helping her out at the detective agency. Oh, and you'll meet Mable, the acting director of the Research Lab, who will reward you as you fill out the Pokédex. (Wait, why are there Team Flare insignias on all of her things?! And why does she also seem a bit familiar?)
With all that action, I'm sure you'll want a breather too! Why not try out all the latest fashion in Lumiose City, give your Furfrou a trim, or snap some photos with your Pokémon as you relax together and enjoy the city's scenery?
We're still a few months out from release, so keep an eye out for more reveals in the coming weeks. We’ll be there to cover all the details! Want to lend a hand? Create a Bulbapedia account today and join us in the Bulbagarden Discord, where we're discussing all the new content in the dedicated wiki channels. See you there!
Main article: Pokémon Champions
Yo! Champ in the making! Did you catch the latest info about Pokémon Champions? First announced in the Pokémon Presents earlier this year on Pokémon Day, we got another look at what's in store for players. Side Series Champions abcboy and Luigi1234 have filled us in on the basics of the kinds of battle modes that are set to appear, as well as the game's connectivity with HOME. There's still much to learn before you're Hall-of-Fame ready, so be sure to check out the current list of Pokémon you can expect to import or recruit in the meantime! Who do you want to take with you to the top of the leaderboards in 2026?
Main article: Pokémon Friends
Let's take a trip to Think Town to solve some puzzles in Pokémon Friends! In doing so, we'll untangle yarn to feed into the Plush-O-Matic to make some adorable Pokémon plush to display in the plush room. As you progress, partake in some friend quests to trade in plush for furniture as well! So many of our own friends—including Drjwho, K00pedia, Magikarp(en), Agamer13, AnnieCat07, SuperPikaPool13, Chao, and Storm Aurora—have come together already to add all the cozy content for this new game, and there's still more to do, so we'd love for you to join our friend group!
Stop Motion Magic and IRL Adventures
Amongst the plethora of announcements in the latest Pokémon Presents, three more news stories particularly caught our eye, and our editors have already been hard at work creating articles with all the key details.
Another was the first sneak peek of what Aardman (creators of Wallace & Gromit and Shaun the Sheep) have been working on. The name of the project was revealed to be Pokémon Tales: The Misadventures of Sirfetch'd & Pichu, and it certainly looks like the titular characters will be getting up to all kinds of mischief! This animated series is due for release in 2027, and having only seen 40 seconds, we're already excited for more!
Lastly, Junichi Masuda shared details of the first permanent outdoor Pokémon attraction, PokéPark Kanto. Located inside Yomiuriland, Tokyo's largest amusement park, this experience includes a Pokémon-filled forest to explore and a town complete with its own Pokémon Center and Poké Mart. Ticket sales are due to start later this year, with opening scheduled for early 2026. This is a really exciting new venture by The Pokémon Company, and our editors will be keeping the wiki up-to-date with all the news and details.

Several other major contributions have shown up in the wild across the wiki!
Committed field researcher JoaoBaiao has been busy traveling in and out of Paldea, Kitakami, and the Blueberry Academy's Terarium to study the mysterious mass outbreak phenomenon. They've been researching what kinds of Pokémon appear and which biomes they can appear in, so pack your sandwiches and go explore for yourself!
Can you hear it? That's the ringing of the Gigaton Hammer of Tinkaton, calling on heroes to join the Panic Parade in UNITE! Originally started by SquirtingSquirtle back in June, Salmancer has entered the arena to give us a descriptive wave-by-wave breakdown of the event. Set up a game plan with your team, keep an eye out for those Presents, and enjoy the spectacle!
The page for Dragonite and the Special Delivery got its own dedicated special delivery this month; anzasquiddles has summarized the plot for this charming, 14-minute animated short featuring our Mega-lovable dragon mail carrier. Additionally, anzasquiddles has added language tables to every single currently Standard legal (G-H-I) Trainer and Energy card in the Pokémon TCG. Fantastic work!
We'd also like to spotlight Bosskey for their coverage on some of the recent TCG Pocket deck archetypes. Employ strategies like DarkTina and Eevee Box with the recommended archetypes to claim your victory! If you're curious about earlier deck archetypes, Lief Katano has you covered with DarkZone, popular during Space-Time Smackdown.
Last but not least, BrownieBombsTCG created the page for Play! Pokémon Prize Pack Series Seven, a series of promotional cards including 88 select cards from Temporal Forces through Journey Together as well as SVE prints of Basic Energy Cards. Thanks for putting this together!
