A Beautiful Story of Great Discoveries and Playful Encounters
What started as a simple update on the latest venue evolved into a massive project uploading high quality images, sourcing files, redesigning tables to be more space efficient, adding detailed information on the art pieces and their dimensions, and materials and techniques used, as well as helpful links and additional information for readers.
Chao also added details on the goodies and freebies available at the exhibition such as the collab stickers from the stamp rally, and he looked up posters and several more images of merch, food, and logos. Not stopping there, Chao sought out and embedded every video about the exhibit from the official Japanese Pokémon YouTube channel and dug up links to every website and social media account of the participating museums, galleries, and artists, including links to relevant Japanese articles and press releases.
After many hours of dedicated research, even examining low-res Japanese artwork labels for further details, we now have the most comprehensive article available on this exciting experience before it ends later this year. Fantastic work, Chao!

A First Class Upgrade!
The page now includes more images of Pokémon-based transport in action, including the different walking Pokémon in Let’s Go, Pikachu! and Let’s Go, Eevee!, for easier visibility. Additionally, it now features Pokédex entries across multiple regions where this type of transport has been observed. Good to know that Lapras has consistently had some raving reviews over the years!
Much like the field moves in the core series games, the Pokémon Ranger series has its own unique set of field moves that are delegated for movement. There are countless instances where traversing through air or water is necessary, but let’s not forget that quaint rides over lava on Torkoal are also possible! The sections detailing Pokémon transport in animation and in the manga have also welcomed new examples of their own, but as always, editors are welcome to flesh them out even further!
Chaos Rises from the Abyss
The latest English and Japanese Pokémon TCG sets, Chaos Rising and Abyss Eye, were both released last month--on the very same day, no less!
Chaos Rising features the introduction of Mega Floette ex to the Trading Card Game, as well as Mega Greninja ex! Alongside the pair, Mega Pyroar ex and Mega Dragalge ex also make their TCG debuts, while popular characters and locations from Pokémon Legends: Z-A are also featured.
Abyss Eye introduces content from the Mega Dimension DLC and is headlined by its terrifying antagonist, the nightmarish Mega Darkrai ex, who's joined by fellow newcomers Mega Zeraora ex, Mega Chandelure ex, and Mega Excadrill ex! Players and collectors alike can look forward to cards from this set releasing internationally in the Pitch Black set, releasing in July.
TCG Pocket Presents a Plethora of Paradox Pokémon!
May saw the release of Paradox Drive, the latest Pokémon TCG Pocket set, and the first to introduce Paradox Pokémon! First seen in Pokémon Scarlet and Violet, these mysterious Pokémon hail from Area Zero and originate from the ancient past and distant future. Led by Koraidon ex and Miraidon ex, every single Paradox Pokémon is featured in the set, alongside fan-favourite Evolutions Farigiraf, Dudunsparce, and Kingambit. The Legendary Tera Pokémon, Terapagos, also makes its Pocket debut as a Pokémon ex!
With more than 100 cards to collect in total, there's no time like the present, past, or future to start hunting for paradoxes! Translations for a Nation!
Pokémon fans are united in their love for the series for many reasons, and nothing draws in a larger audience than text translations for international releases. Nob Ogasawara was one such individual who helped give a voice to the English versions of the core series Pokémon games, up until Pokémon Platinum! Our lovely staff member anzasquiddles took the time to research and make Ogasawara-san’s story known beyond just his accreditations in the game credits. Working close with Nintendo of America, he had significant influence on localization decisions across the board, such as keeping the names Old Chateau and Old Gateau in the official English releases of Diamond and Pearl for a silly pun! Poké Life
Drjwho and Zyxyz have both been living their best life—Poké Life, that is—expanding the page of the same name! Raising the environment level of an area in Pokopia unlocks many new items and upgrades, and they’ve been hard at work squaring away those details in neat little sections. The same goes for the area challenges and their rewards. A whole challenge in itself!
Project Piplup
Remember Project Piplup? CrownMyFries sure did! They waded through all sorts of media to gather information on the yearlong campaign, from in-person pop-up events to social media giveaways, as well as music videos to merchandise. Rafael.zinho also lent a flipper with the two mini manga series that commemorated this event!
