Whats inside a Forretress?

Following reading a thread asking whats under a Diglett, I was aroused to the fact that we also don't know what the inside of a Forretress looks like. So I decided to post this.

Personally I think its probably a lot like a Cloyster or a Shellder, namely a small black blob with eyes and a mouth.

What do you think?
 
I think it's like most shelled animals in that the shell is essentially its skin, so what's inside of it are its internal organs.
 
Agreed. It doesn't open like a clam or anything. What's inside a Forretress is the same thing that's inside a squirrel. Internal organs.
 
Actually I'm pretty sure it does open up because it says in one of the random handbooks you can get that "When it catches and eats its prey it opens and closes its shell so quickly you can't see what's inside."

So what's inside a Forretress is reflective of your psychological state?

Does that mean it would change as your feelings do? Sounds weirdly like your saying that there's a Ralts in their or something. Which is of course impossible as it would have psychic powers and Ralts' eyes are different to Forretress', unless its a mutated Ralts.
 
I gathered, I'm just proving the Idea can't be considered plausible so we don't have this thread spiralling into a "How my spirit is represented by Forretress" kind of thing.

So lets rip the bark off Pineco. All in the name of Science of coarse :D
 
Since Forretress apparently is a bagworm, there's probably a limbless moth inside.
 
Nintendo already explained what is inside based off of the name: An army of ready pineco rest deep inside the forrestress.
