What's the pruning policy?

I wanted to look at some of the posts I made when I was still unregistered, but apparently those threads have been pruned. How long are inactive threads kept before they disappear?

Thank you. I didn't know that was a CP option. I had to look around to find it, but I found it. All is well now. You may close this thread now.

Suggestion: Somebody ought to write a printable user's manual for what can be done. Exploring the CP options is fine, but not everyone has the time, inclination nor the awareness to do so. (Guilty on all three counts.) A prominently posted manual for noobs would cut down on questions like mine.

If these topics--and others I haven't thought about--have been addressed before, then there should be something like a FAQ with links to the relevant threads. Make BMGf user friendly. Don't make me and others hunt for them.

There's actually an easier way, although it's only a way of temporarily viewing the threads: When you enter any of the separate forums and scroll down to the bottom, you'll see a "Display Options" menu. If you change the "Start from" to "Beginning" (or...however long ago the thread was placed), you'll see all of the threads from that point to now. It's quick, it's easy, but it IS something you'd have to do everytime you entered a thread. But...why make a habit of raising old threads from the depths of hell?

Please note: The thread is from 20 years ago.
Please take the age of this thread into consideration in writing your reply. Depending on what exactly you wanted to say, you may want to consider if it would be better to post a new thread instead.
