ALRIGHT SO. I saw dig's thread about the worst gift you've received, and it reminded me a lot about some of the semi-intentionally worst gifts I've ever given my friends and family. In the years since, I've started giving baked goods as a sort of "I don't need to put too much thought into what you like because who doesn't love free food???"
I once wrapped up an onion and gave it to a friend as a birthday present. I've given a ceramic frog from a cheapie shop that happened to be the only one with a wonky eye (I seriously did not notice this at the time, but my friends that were shopping with me thought it was very intentional) and I discovered that I really enjoyed giving intentionally crap presents because these are the gifts that people actually remember receiving, even if for reasons they weren't anticipating upon seeing the beautifully wrapped masterpiece before them.
So resident posters of the Bulbagarden Online Internet Discussion Board I ask you this -
What are the worst gifts that you've given, intentionally or not? Was it for a friend? Someone you dislike? What made it awful? Would you do it again?
