What's up with Lycos?

Everytime I try to use the Lycos.com search engine (that is I type a search item into the SEARCH toolbox and press ENTER)it just leads me to a blank page with nothing on it!!! Plus I don't know why but the weekly Lycos 50 top searches aren't being updated properly.

Tell me how you guys use Lycos and make it work.
Plus:- Isn't there any other search engine that displays what are the most tip top searched items on the net? The fact that Google doesn't have this disturbs me.

Plus once upon a time Lycos used to give weekly commentaries about its searched items. Something like this:

Yeah I know its old, but it was really helpful. Maybe another search engine is doing the same and/or Lycos has discontinued this.

Please help me Out. Note: I am quite nooby so please add a tad bit of explanation to your posts.

Google's Zeitgeist does the same thing, these days.

As for Lycos...I'm sure the company died years ago, it's probably a legacy project by someone which may have been discontinued.

The link you gave us seems to work fine. I'm not sure about this situation though I never really care to try to go on Lycos. That's the best way I could help you.
