What's Your On-Hand Team by Region?

I've thought about this question ever since I started watching the anime. If I were in Kanto/Johto/Hoenn etc., and I was a trainer traveling around the region, what Pokémon would I have on hand?

A Kanto team I think would be fun to travel with would be:

Squirtle
Vulpix
Venonat/Venomoth (Net Ball)
Eeevee/Jolteon


This is based on the anime and all my choices are either nostalgic or Pokémon I think it would be fun to interact with. What about you? Feel free to include moveset, Pokéball type, ability, nature, whatever.
