What's your opinion on Sheriff Arpaio. In Phoenix, you hear quite a bit about him. I've heard him compared to Hitler, being called a racist, etc.

My opinion is simply that people don't like him because he does his job, and enforces the law. As far as illegal immigration goes, well, I'm an immigrant, too, and yet, I have nothing to fear from the sheriff.

About how he runs Tent City, a lot of people in the war in the Middle East live the same way, if not worse. After all, that's where the tents came from. In prison you're supposed to paying for a crime, not be on vacation. After all, the sheriff did spend some time in there himself, once. One night, at least.

And if he really does have anything in common with Hitler, and is so power hungry, no one would say, they'd be afraid to leave their homes, practically. After all, one word against him, and the Gestapo are after you.

I, for one, really admire the sheriff.

If you don't know who he is, a little bit about him http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Arpaio http://www.arpaio.com/

(eyebrow arching upward with curiosity) Joe Arpaio? I've heard of this guy a few times in the past. Glenn Beck conducted a couple of interviews with him, one apparently just weeks ago, and from what I remember, both Arpaio and Beck are good men. I'm willing to support Arpaio's measures against those Mexican drug cartel members before they can spill into America even further. The Heritage Foundation has a memo describing the turmoil to America's south, and it may be safe to assume that as those cartels gain power, that turmoil will increase, thereby making Arpaio's job that much more challenging. Of course, if that report from the United States Joint Forces Command about Mexico's possible collapse is accurate, then Arpaio might be facing an even bigger problem than we thought. I will keep an eye on this developing problem, and come to think of it, what I've been hearing about it is definitely not good, but I would think that that's why individuals like Joe Arpaio will prove critical in containing the damage before it engulfs Mexico.

Not voting because there's no "I think he's a bit of an asshole and I think he should change the way he does his job" option.

Not voting because I agree with Politoed666.

The guy believes working in a chain gang is a reward.
